Dragon Age: The Veilguard Patch Includes Sneaky Mass Effect Armour
As a seasoned gamer with over three decades of gaming under my belt, I must say that BioWare’s recent patch for Dragon Age: The Veilguard has sent a thrill down my old-school, Mass Effect-loving spine! The inclusion of a bit of N7 Day Mass Effect armor is like finding a long-lost relic in a medieval treasure trove. It may not be futuristic, but this retro-medieval twist on the Mass Effect aesthetic certainly adds a cool factor that’s hard to ignore.
BioWare introduced an update for Dragon Age: The Veilguard, subtly incorporating some Mass Effect armor as a tribute on N7 Day.
On that particular day of the year, fans of Mass Effect become particularly enthusiastic and engage in extensive discussions about Mass Effect. This hidden detail is bound to excite them even more.
Instead of having a futuristic vibe, it seems to be a blend of medieval aesthetics with a touch of futurism from the Mass Effect series, and it’s quite appealing.
The patch also makes a number of fairly unsexy but nonetheless necessary tweaks:
- Fixed a bug that caused Companion Skill Points to reset.
- Adjusted Companion Approval notifications so they remain on-screen longer as scenes end.
- Harding now has arrows in her quiver and is ready for battle.
Global banter should no longer start too early.
And quite rightly so – global banter shoudln’t start too early.
Here are some of the solutions mentioned. For comprehensive details, take a look at the provided list. The Veilguard, being the latest Dragon Age game since Inquisition in 2014, has been warmly welcomed as a return to the series. Stay tuned for our upcoming review!
Dragon Age: The Veilguard is out now, for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC.
