Dragon Age: The Veilguard Game Director is Leaving BioWare After Almost 20 Years
The Game Director for “Dragon Age: The Veilguard,” Corinne Busche, is preparing to leave BioWare after nearly two decades with the Canadian developer and Electronic Arts (EA). Throughout her tenure at EA, Busche made significant contributions to the popular “The Sims” video game series.
As reported by Jeff Grubb on social media and Eurogamer, it appears that Busche is set to leave the studio within the next few weeks. However, other departments at BioWare are expected to remain unaffected, contrary to some rumors. At BioWare, Busche collaborated closely with Creative Director John Epler in bringing the game “Dragon Age: The Veilguard” to completion, following a somewhat rocky development process spanning over ten years.
The game titled “Dragon Age: Veilguard” was unveiled towards the end of October and received positive critical acclaim, while its sales have been steady. As for BioWare, they continue their work on the upcoming “Mass Effect” game, though a release date has yet to be set. Rumors hint that the “Paragon/Renegade morality system” might reappear in this new title.
