Bianca Castro from the show “RuPaul’s Drag Race” has undergone an amputation of her right leg due to a serious infection.

43-year-old celebrity, who gained popularity in 2011 under the stage name Jiggly Caliente, received support following the announcement made by her family in a poignant social media post.

On Instagram, it was posted by Bianca Castro’s family: ‘Over the past month, our cherished loved one and well-known drag performer Jiggly Caliente, Bianca Castro, has faced a severe health complication. We are deeply saddened to share this news.’

Because of a serious infection, she had to be admitted to the hospital, which ultimately led to her having to amputate most of her right leg.

Due to the current situation, Bianca won’t join RuPaul’s Drag Race Philippines this season and also won’t attend any public events for a while. She needs a lot of time to recover.

At present, let’s respectfully grant privacy to Bianca and her loved ones while they face this challenging experience collectively.

On November 13, 2011, it was revealed that Jiggly was among the thirteen competitors for the fourth season of RuPaul’s Drag Race.

In the legendary show, she finished eighth, getting booted out during a lip-sync battle against Willam, who ranked seventh.

2021 saw Jiggly named among the 13 queens set to compete in RuPaul’s Drag Race: All Stars Season 6. However, she didn’t make it all the way and was sent home during the second episode, ultimately finishing in twelfth position overall.

The iconic queen is a main judge on Drag Race Philippines, which premiered in August 2022.
