The 2019 film can be streamed on Amazon Prime Video right now, however, it will no longer be accessible from June 14th, exactly nine days from now.

The elimination implies that fans will not have much time to get updated on the events before the third movie in the series – Downton Abbey: The Final Chapter, which is scheduled for release towards the end of this year.

In the last part of the series, we’ll be welcoming back Hugh Bonneville, Michelle Dockery, Kevin Doyle, Jim Carter, Joanne Froggatt, and Paul Giamatti once more.

In the given synopsis, “Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale” takes us through the journey of the Crawley family and their servants as they move into the 1930s.

With their cherished personalities guiding the way, they strive to guide Downton Abbey towards the future, accepting change and stepping into a fresh phase in its history.

Earlier this month, they revealed the preview for the third film. It contained a touching homage to the late Dame Maggie Smith, symbolized by an artwork displayed on the wall – a portrait of Violet Crawley, the Dowager Countess of Grantham.

The video likewise hinted at the conclusion of Downton Abbey’s tale, as the on-screen text affirmed: “A spot we’ll forever cherish, a family we’ll eternally recall. All along, everything has been leading up to this. It’s nearly time to say goodbye.”

The video further highlighted the end of Downton Abbey’s saga, as the text displayed: “A place we’ll forever hold dear, a family we’ll always remember. Everything that came before has led us here. It’s nearly time to take our leave.

Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale is released in cinemas on 12 September.
