Double Dragon Gaiden: Rise of the Dragons Free DLC to Add Two More Playable Characters in April
The team behind Maximum Entertainment and Secret Base has revealed that two additional playable characters are coming to the game “Double Dragon Gaiden: Rise of the Dragons” as part of a free update arriving this April. This announcement follows the introduction of three new characters through last year’s “Sacred Reunion” DLC expansion.
Jeff and Abore will be added to the roster in a new DLC pack next month, as the first of several planned character updates, which will see a further six new fighters added later this year. Jeff is a childhood rival of protagonists Billy and Jimmy Lee, and trained alongside them in the martial art Sōsetsuken. His fighting style is described as “dangerous” and “unpredictable”.
Abore is a hulking ex-soldier whose stoicism belies a raw power and unwavering calm. His incredible strength allows Abore to deal crushing blows, causing enemies to question whether he’s just a man, or something more. You’ll be able to play as both Jeff and Abore when the free DLC drops next month.
The game titled “Double Dragon Gaiden: Rise of the Dragons” is playable on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and personal computers (PC).
