Starting from 2015, Fuerza Regida, a Mexican music band, has been sharing their unique style in Southern California and beyond. They’ve gained popularity through YouTube videos and local performances, eventually transforming into a significant cultural influence. Their latest album, 111xpantia, shot to the top of Billboard, Spotify, and Apple Music All-Genre and Latin Album charts almost instantly. Currently, they are the number one streaming band worldwide on Spotify.

Fuerza Regida combines traditional Mexican tunes, like corridos, banda, and norteño, with modern global beats such as house and hip-hop, crafting a unique, powerful sound. Beyond music, they embody a significant influence on Mexican-American artists by paving the way for them to shine. Notably, they’ve partnered with Dos Equis, another influential force in Mexican culture, to amplify their message of showcasing Mexican-American creators. This collaboration is part of Dos Equis’ new “Ni Perdon, Ni Permiso” campaign, which honors the power of unrestrained self-expression through music, art, and style. Together, they have launched a limited-edition merchandise line created by Mexican-American designers and artists, inspired by Fuerza Regida’s authenticity.

The phrase, “Ni Perdon, Ni Permiso” encourages artists to boldly assert their creative control, much like Fuerza Regida has done with unrestrained self-expression. This saying, meaning “Neither forgiveness, nor permission,” is a well-known sentiment within Mexican culture; it’s a rallying cry for standing firmly in your artistic convictions. For this initiative, Dos Equis conveys this message using the platforms of music, art, and fashion.

At a private event in Houston, the band unveiled a preview of their new collection, which was crafted by Mexican-American designer Jose “IMAGiNE” Trasviña and showcased fashion designs by Bryan Escareño. Fans can bid on the remaining pieces from this collaboration via an auction on dosequis.com/music. The funds raised will be donated to the Mexican American Opportunity Fund (MAOF), a charity chosen by the band, which is dedicated to assisting Latino communities in California – giving back to their roots where the musical group’s journey originated.

Working alongside Dos Equis in developing this movement has been incredibly motivating, and we can’t wait to unveil the next stage of our partnership with our fans through these distinctive items that truly reflect the bold attitude of the ‘Ni Perdón, Ni Permiso’ campaign,” said JOP from Fuerza Regida. “Additionally, being able to contribute to an organization like the MOAF through this collaboration is incredibly gratifying because of the immediate effect it has on our community, which has nurtured and supported us all along.”
Stay tuned to Dos Equis’ Instagram and online platforms for exclusive sneak peeks, fashion collaboration updates, and more chances to connect with the “Ni Perdon Ni Permiso” movement. If you wish to participate, the auction will take place from Tuesday, August 5, through Tuesday, August 19.
