DOOM: The Dark Ages Goes Solo – Pre-Order Premium Edition Now!

As a devoted fan, I’m thrilled to share that id Software has verified the absence of multiplayer in DOOM: The Dark Ages. This decision allows the studio to fully unleash their creativity on the game’s single-player experience. Intriguingly, this means we’ll get to pilot the colossal Atlan mech and command an armed-to-the-teeth fire-breathing cybernetic dragon!

As a devoted gamer, I can’t help but share the exciting news: right from the start, we dived headfirst into crafting our biggest, most grandiose single-player campaign yet. Studio Director Marty Stratton confirmed this choice, stating it allows us to fully immerse ourselves in this expansive, epic journey. We’re genuinely thrilled with our decision!

Hugo Martin, the Creative Director, emphasized that the “Dark Ages” won’t signal the conclusion of the series; instead, there’s more to look forward to. In essence, he stated that it’s not meant to be an ending but rather a continuation. He clarified that the team is currently concentrated on this project specifically, but “DOOM: The Dark Ages” doesn’t symbolize a full stop in the narrative.

Besides that, you can now pre-order the “DOOM: The Dark Ages” Premium Edition. This special edition grants early access to the game up to two days before its release, along with additional Campaign DLC. For digital versions, it also comes with a Divinity Skin Pack. If you opt for the physical Collector’s Edition, you’ll receive extras such as a 12″ Doom Slayer statue, a steelbook, and a replica red keycard, in addition to the same content.

Pre-ordering the game, “DOOM: The Dark Ages,” will grant you a Void Doom Slayer skin. This action-packed game arrives on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC on May 15th.
