Don’t miss the brilliant trailer for Netflix’s “unbelievably stressful” thriller A House of Dynamite

Netflix has released the first trailer for A House of Dynamite, a new political thriller directed by Kathryn Bigelow and featuring a well-known cast. The film, which debuted at the Venice Film Festival earlier this month, tells the story of a team racing to identify and neutralize a nuclear missile headed for the U.S.

A new trailer for the upcoming film, set to hit theaters next week, hints at a fast-paced story told from multiple perspectives with a large cast. Rebecca Ferguson, known for her role in *Silo*, plays Captain Olivia Walker, and Idris Elba stars as the President of the United States.

The film also stars Anthony Ramos from *Twisters*, Gabriel Basso of *The Night Agent*, Moses Ingram known for *Obi-Wan Kenobi*, and Jonah Hauer-King, who appeared in *I Know What You Did Last Summer*, as well as other talented actors.

Reviewers have described the movie as intensely stressful and nerve-wracking, but also thought-provoking. Many have also commended director Kathryn Bigelow’s skillful and meticulous approach.

Variety magazine found the film unconvincing, describing it as stuck between a genuine thriller and cheap, sensational entertainment.

I’m really excited about this new film! It’s Kathryn Bigelow’s first movie in eight years, and that’s a long time coming after how amazing her last one, *Detroit*, was. It’s written by Noah Oppenheim, which is great to hear.

Guillermo del Toro’s new version of *Frankenstein*, which premiered at the Venice Film Festival, will also be available on Netflix.

This new adaptation of Mary Shelley’s classic horror story focuses on a troubled family dynamic. Jacob Elordi, known from *Euphoria*, stars as the creature, and Oscar Isaac plays Victor Frankenstein.

I’m so excited for this movie! It’s hitting theaters for a short run starting October 17th, and then thankfully it’ll be available on Netflix starting November 7th, so everyone can check it out!

The new film, A House of Dynamite, hits theaters on October 3rd and will be available to stream on Netflix starting October 24th.
