Make sure to set aside April 25th on your calendar, as you might be keen to watch the intense and action-filled debut trailer for Tom Hardy’s Netflix suspenseful drama titled “Havoc.
In the role of a battle-worn detective named Walker, Hardy is featured in Havoc, a film penned and directed by Gareth Evans, the creative mind behind “The Raid” and “Gangs of London”. As the criminal underworld looms over his city, Walker must navigate through it in a fierce struggle to preserve peace.
Following a failed drug transaction, Walker is pursued by a criminal organization, a corrupt official, and several of his own colleagues as he endeavors to save the troubled child of that official.
Take a peek at the trailer for “Havoc” that’s up there, and consider adding it to your Netflix queue before its debut on Friday, April 25th.

In addition to the lead role, Havoc features Jessie Mei Li, Timothy Olyphant, Forest Whitaker, Justin Cornwell, Quelin Sepulveda, Luis Guzmán, Michelle Waterson, Sunny Pang, Jim Caesar, Xelia Mendes-Jones and Yeo Yann Yann.
This action-thriller is jointly produced by both the United Kingdom and the United States. Despite being storyline-wise based in the U.S., the entire filming took place in Wales.
This year, it adds to an impressive lineup of Netflix original films, featuring titles such as “The Old Guard 2”, “Frankenstein”, “The Woman in Cabin 10”, the third installment of “Knives Out”, and “RIP”.

If you’ve watched either “The Raid” or “Gangs of London,” you might not find the intense action depicted in the “Havoc” trailer unexpected. It appears that this is merely a preview of what’s to come.
Evans recently stated at a Netflix preview gathering, “I consider Havoc my tribute to the heroic bloodshed genre; those action-packed films that emerged from Hong Kong in the 1980s and 1990s.
This film is a gritty, crime-focused police drama, unfolding over two nights leading up to Christmas. However, it’s not your typical holiday movie. Instead, it centers around the character of Tom Hardy, who portrays Walker, a morally ambiguous officer with a penchant for questionable actions.
Bring it on.
Havoc is released on Netflix on April 25.
