Sean Bean’s new Northern-set drama Anemone has dropped a first trailer.
The upcoming film, titled “mysteriously,” stars an actor from “Game of Thrones” alongside Daniel Day-Lewis, who has made a comeback to acting after a hiatus of eight years.
As a die-hard movie enthusiast, I’m thrilled to share that we’re on the cusp of the film’s release! In the US, it’s set for October, while UK fans will have to wait until November. The suspense is palpable with the revealing of our first genuine glimpse in the trailer, which you can see right above. Enjoy!
What to Read Next
Written collaboratively by Day-Lewis together with his son Ronan, who also assumes directorial duties, the movie titled “Anemone” explores the deep and intricate bonds shared among brothers, fathers, and their offspring.
As a seasoned gamer, I’d say it like this: “I embark on an adventure deep into the heart of the forest, leaving my suburban abode behind. Along the way, I rekindle bonds with my long-lost recluse brother, who’s been living in seclusion – much like the character played by Daniel Day-Lewis.

United by a mystifying, intricate history, these men maintain a complex, sometimes affectionate bond – a connection that was significantly transformed by traumatic incidents many years ago.
In addition, the film features Samuel Bottomley from “Somewhere Boy,” Safia Oakley-Green of “The Lazarus Project,” and television’s Samantha Morton from “The Walking Dead.

Peter Kujawski, chairman of Focus Features, expressed immense enthusiasm about the upcoming collaboration between our company and the talented visual artist, Ronan Day-Lewis, on his debut feature film. This project marks a unique opportunity for Ronan to work alongside Daniel Day-Lewis as a creative companion.
The script they’ve penned is nothing short of extraordinary. We eagerly anticipate collaborating with them to bring their joint imagination to viewers, joined by our colleagues at Plan B.
The movie titled “Anemone” is scheduled to hit theaters in the United States on October 3rd. It’s also planned to debut in both UK and Irish cinemas on November 7th.
The latest Digital Spy print issue, featuring Oasis – Live in ’25’, is now available! You can purchase it from your local newsstands or online for only £8.99.
