Prime Video now has Siren’s Kiss, a thrilling romance starring Park Min-young (from Marry My Husband) and Wi Ha-jun (Squid Game). The show is a fast-paced, dangerous game of attraction between two people that quickly spirals into obsession.

Kim Jung-hyun, known for his role in Crash Landing on You, joins the cast as the wealthy heir to a company with many hidden secrets.

I’m totally hooked on this new show! It’s about an auctioneer named Han Seol-ah, played by Park, and things get crazy when some of her exes start turning up dead. They think she might be involved, so this insurance fraud investigator, Cha Woo-seok, played by Wi, is brought in to figure out what happened to them. It’s a real mystery!

What to Read Next

Insurance fraud investigator Cha Woo-seok begins investigating a series of deaths connected to the captivating auctioneer, Han Seol-ah. As more people from her past, including a recently deceased colleague and former lovers, turn up dead, he starts to wonder if she’s actually the one being targeted.

Pretending to be a couple while investigating a mystery, they find they have more in common than expected and get caught up in a world of art forgery, insurance scams, and killings motivated by greed and intense desire.

The thriller series premiered on Prime Video yesterday, and a new episode is available today. Expect fresh episodes every Monday and Tuesday.

Kim Cheol-gyu is the director of this series. He’s known for directing popular shows like Flower of Evil, Celebrity, Chicago Typewriter, and Mother.

In an interview with Variety, Park described Han Seol-ah as a woman who has become emotionally starved. Having experienced a lot of hardship, she’s simply existing, relying on water and alcohol to get by.

Wi shared that he was immediately captivated by the show’s script, reading it all in one go. He was particularly drawn to the story’s mix of suspense and heartfelt emotion.

Despite being a gripping and intense show, it’s also surprisingly heartwarming and full of empathy,” he said. He believes viewers might even find it therapeutic, offering a chance to relax and feel better just by watching.

Wi explained that he focused on making every gesture reflect the character’s feelings, thoughts, and how he felt about the person he was interacting with.

Episodes 1 and 2 of Siren’s Kiss are now streaming on Prime Video.
