Before he was Superman, Henry Cavill was the first Duke of Suffolk.
The actor who portrayed Superman made a significant debut in the historical drama series on Showtime, titled “The Tudors.” If you haven’t had a chance to watch it so far, you might be running out of time.
Currently, all four seasons of the show can be streamed on Amazon Prime Video. However, in about three weeks, they will no longer be available as they have been transferred to Prime Video’s “Leaving Soon” section.
At age 24, Cavill assumed the part of Charles Brandon, 1st Duke of Suffolk. It wasn’t until three years following the conclusion of that series that he would put on Superman’s cape for the movie “Man of Steel.
In addition to Cavill, the show “The Tudors” boasts a stellar ensemble headed by Jonathan Rhys Meyers portraying Henry VIII and Natalie Dormer from “Game of Thrones” taking on the role of Anne Boleyn.
Or, more concisely:
Jonathan Rhys Meyers plays Henry VIII, while Natalie Dormer from “Game of Thrones” acts as Anne Boleyn in the talented cast of “The Tudors,” alongside Cavill.

Alongside Joely Richardson, Peter O’Toole, Joss Stone, Sam Neill, and Sarah Bolger from “Once Upon a Time,” this production features other notable stars as well.
From 2007 to 2010, the historical drama series The Tudors garnered multiple award nominations, one of which being a Golden Globe for the category of Best Drama Series.
The film presently boasts an 8.1 rating on IMDB, with one viewer labeling it as utterly captivating, while another refers to it as unmatched and incredibly hypnotic.
Currently, Cavill is planning to play a role in the forthcoming revival of the popular film, ‘Highlander’, a project that’s been under development for more than ten years now.

In the upcoming role, Cavill will portray Connor MacLeod, a timeless Scottish swordfighter engaged in combat with fellow immortals for possession of a highly sought-after ability.
Just a while ago, fans received the long-awaited news: Director Chad Stahelski hinted that the production was about to commence soon.
Currently, we are busy with the preparations. Our aim is to begin filming around mid-September, initially in London. He shared this news with Deadline and expressed his hope that it turns out well.
The Tudors is streaming now on Prime Video.
The first print magazine from Digital Spy, titled “British Comedy Legends,” is available now! You can purchase it at your local newsstands or online for only £3.99.
