Eve Myles’ new BBC thriller The Guest will debut on TV tonight.

This storyline explores an unusual and passionate bond that unfolds between successful businesswoman Fran and her bubbly housekeeper, Ria.

In difficult periods, Fran offers Ria guidance beyond just happiness. However, their friendship gradually becomes poisonous and Ria unwittingly steps into a perilous realm filled with hidden truths and deadly acts.

In this four-act play, ‘Broadchurch’ actor Myles takes on the role of Fran, while Gabrielle Creevy from ‘Black Doves’ portrays Ria.

They are also accompanied by actor Sion Daniel Young from the series “Slow Horses”, Emun Elliott known for his role in “Sexy Beast”, Bethan Mary-James famous for her work on “Friday Night Dinner”, Julian Lewis Jones recognized for his part in “The Wheel of Time”, Joseph Ollman starred in “Queenie”, Clive Russell who has worked on “The Witcher”, and Catherine Ayers who appeared in “The Way”.

During an interview with Digital Spy, Myles expressed that she found the storyline captivating immediately upon her initial read of the script.

I had plans to go with my two daughters to watch Taylor Swift, but suddenly, another script arrived. My mind was filled with questions like, ‘Who are these two new people? What’s the situation here?’

That night, she dove right into the first three episodes and shared, “I was instantly captivated, though I apologize if that sounds like a worn-out phrase, but it genuinely happened.

“I just wanted to know more and more and more, and I couldn’t figure them out,” she added.

The Guest will premiere on BBC One at 9pm on Monday, 1 September.
