A new season of Granite Harbour is now available on BBC iPlayer! You can stream all three seasons of this Scottish crime drama – including the first two – on the platform right now.
I’m really excited to see Dawn Steele back as DCI Cora MacMillan! She’s amazing, and this new season has three episodes where she leads the Major Investigation Team. Plus, Romario Simpson is returning as DC Davis Lindo, and Hannah Donaldson is back as DS Lara Bartlett – the whole team’s back together, which is awesome.
Season three will feature new cast members including John Gordon Sinclair (known for Traces), Ellie Haddington (Motherland), and Alastair Mackenzie (Vigil). Sinclair will play Chief Constable Alan Willis, while Haddington and Mackenzie will portray Rose Gough and Richard Loughty, respectively.
In September, Simpson announced the next episode will feature a compelling new mystery within the travelling community, promising it will be ‘intense’ and full of suspense.
The case centers around the murder of teenager Lisa Sterling, whose body was discovered in a ravine following a party at the luxurious Loughty Estate. While estate owner Richard Loughty appears pleasant, investigators suspect he may be hiding crucial information.
