It’s Christmas week, and BBC One is showing a brand new comedy special tonight called Stuffed. It stars Guz Khan and Morgana Robinson, both known for their appearances on the popular show Taskmaster. You might remember Morgana winning season 12, with Guz coming in second!
This one-hour show, Stuffed, centers around Arslan Farooqi (Khan), the Muslim father in a family with different religious beliefs who doesn’t really mind Christmas. His wife, Hannah, on the other hand, is very enthusiastic about it, especially since she recently lost her mother.
He was surprised to get a large £8,000 Christmas bonus, so he decided to treat his family to a trip to Lapland, hoping to give Hannah and the children a truly magical Christmas.

If you’d prefer to start watching now, Stuffed, from the co-creator of Man Like Mobeen (Andy Milligan), has been streaming on BBC iPlayer since December 13th.
The Telegraph called it a lighthearted and enjoyable show, and The Guardian noted that, like many successful Christmas productions, it mixes comedy with a touch of sadness. The Guardian also praised it as subtly innovative.
In an interview with the Guardian, Khan wondered if there had been many Christmas stories featuring couples from different religions.
It’s a fascinating relationship. They simply live everyday lives, without any drama or stress – just the usual things all couples experience. For me and Andy, particularly when working on Man Like Mobeen, people often comment on how unique it is.
We didn’t think it was a big deal – it just felt like everyday life. But we understand a lot of people watching might be surprised, maybe even annoyed. And honestly, that’s okay – it’s all part of the process.
Currently, it seems like the movie Stuffed won’t get a sequel. As Khan stated, he’s not interested unless the next film is set in a warm, beachy location.
