Donatella Versace looked as fashionable as ever on Tuesday when she visited the set of the upcoming movie, The Devil Wears Prada 2, in Milan, where Anne Hathaway was filming.
The 70-year-old Italian designer, who was mentioned in the popular 2006 film, caught the eye in a bright blue suit while talking with the film crew.
She finished her outfit with brown sunglasses and seemed to be enjoying a relaxing break from filming.
Anne, 42, is currently filming scenes for her upcoming return as Andrea Sachs, working alongside Emily Blunt, also 42.
I was absolutely floored when I saw her outfit! She wore this incredible red leather trench coat – seriously stunning – over a shimmering silver suit. It was such a bold and chic look, I couldn’t take my eyes off her!
She completed her look with a black cap and sunglasses, carrying her necessities in a small red leather bag.

She finished her outfit with black and white high heels, and as she walked down the street, she caught Emily’s eye, causing her to stop the car.
The next installment is scheduled to come out in May 2026, marking the 20th anniversary of the first film’s huge success.
Oh my god, everyone’s saying the new movie is going to be AMAZING! Apparently, we get to see what happens with Miranda Priestly – Meryl Streep, of course! – and how she’s dealing with everything that’s happening to print magazines. They’re keeping the *exact* story a secret, but just knowing we’ll see her navigate all that drama? I’m already obsessed!
Sources say she’ll likely need help from her old assistant, Emily – famously played by Emily Blunt – who is now a high-ranking executive at a major luxury brand, to land important advertising contracts.
There were rumors that Emily’s character in the first movie was based on Victoria ‘Plum’ Sykes, a former writer for Vogue, but Sykes has repeatedly denied these claims.
The character of Miranda Priestly is widely believed to be based on Anna Wintour, the editor-in-chief of American Vogue. Wintour recently announced she will be leaving her position in June after leading the magazine for 37 years.
As a lifestyle expert, I can tell you *The Devil Wears Prada* wasn’t just a hit movie – it really became a part of our culture! Meryl Streep’s Miranda Priestly is instantly recognizable, and the film sparked a huge wave of fashion enthusiasm. It’s amazing how a single line – ‘That’s all’ – became so iconic and is still quoted today!
The film received two Academy Award nominations, and Meryl Streep was nominated for Best Actress. She also won a Golden Globe award for her performance in a musical or comedy film.

The show received five BAFTA nominations and three Golden Globe nominations, and is now considered one of the most important comedies of the 2000s.
David Frankel will direct the sequel, and Aline Brosh McKenna is returning to write the script, just as they did with the first movie.
The Devil Wears Prada is based on the novel by Lauren Weisberger and was published in 2003.
The story was later adapted into a musical featuring Vanessa Williams as Miranda Priestly, with music composed by Elton John.
