Don Johnson, 75, reveals illegal drug he once did at the White House
As a devoted admirer, I can proudly say that my footsteps have graced the hallowed halls of the White House in Washington, D.C., more times than I can count. From the days of President Jimmy Carter to the present, I’ve made it a point to pay a visit for every administration’s term.
On his ABC late-night program, Jimmy Kimmel revisited memories of the deceased politician during the fifth visit of the 75-year-old Miami Vice actor. In this appearance, Kimmel displayed a 1976 photo of them both backstage at a political concert.
In a candid admission, Don acknowledged he didn’t recall the specific picture, yet he and the Allman Brothers, alongside Melanie Griffith who was 19 at the time, were all under the influence of marijuana.
To be honest, I’m not sure about him. I wouldn’t dare imply anything negative about the late former president. May he rest in peace.
Johnson said the group were later invited to the White House where ‘the fun began.’
As a devoted admirer, I found myself curious during the conversation when the seasoned host inquired whether you enjoyed yourself, reminiscent of the jovial spirit of Willie Nelson. You see, Willie once shared an intriguing tale about smoking marijuana on a rooftop with Chip Carter, Jimmy Carter’s son, back in 1978.

‘Did you smoke at the White House?’ Jimmy pressed.
In a hesitant manner, Don (formerly known as Donnie), expressed his uncertainty, eventually admitting, ‘I’m not sure I can respond to that. To be honest, I suppose I may have.’
Additionally, during his tenure as a representative for the States at the 1992 Winter Olympics held in France, Johnson also enjoyed spending meaningful moments with the late President George H.W. Bush.
‘He was fantastic. He was a great guy,’ the Rebel Ridge actor gushed.
Instead of being a regular pot smoker, it turned out that he had a gambling streak when we played golf at Camp David. Since I had the opportunity, I pocketed his money. Now let me share something interesting – he’s quite the trash-talker, but he met his match because I can talk just as much trash!
As a lifestyle connoisseur, I’d say when Kimmel inquired about the amount Don had won, he casually dismissed it: “To be honest, it wasn’t a fortune. Maybe eighteen or twenty dollars, but trust me, those are the sweetest eighteen or twenty dollars you’ll ever spend!
Last month, Johnson secured the role of a former entertainer named Lance in Simon Curtis’ humorously-tinged comedy about retirement communities, titled “Encore,” produced by Protagonist Pictures. He will be joining an esteemed cast including Glenn Close, Jeremy Irons, and Henry Winkler.
Despite the successful conclusion of its first season on May 15, ABC hasn’t made a decision to renew the award-winning medical drama “Doctor Odyssey” for another season as of now.
Back on May 30th, I found myself utterly shocked as I learned about the shocking allegations made by fellow enthusiasts, Caroline Mack, Alicia Haverland, and Ava Steinbrenner – dedicated crew members of Doctor Odyssey – who filed a sexual harassment lawsuit against none other than Disney and 20th Century Studios. These powerhouse women claim they were subjected to mistreatment on set, which has left me deeply concerned as a devoted fan of their work.

In this production, Don takes on both roles – he’s the executive producer and portrays Captain Robert Massey, a character set in a fictitious high-end ocean liner.
In terms of family life, Johnson is a father to three kids: 22-year-old son Jasper, 19-year-old son Deacon, and 25-year-old daughter Grace. He was married for 26 years to Kelley Phleger, who used to teach at a Montessori nursery school.
In the production of Unit 234: The Lock Up, the man behind it all had a daughter named Dakota, who is currently 35 years old. This father-daughter relationship developed during his two marriages to Melanie Griffith, an Academy Award nominee. Controversially, their romantic involvement began when he was 23 and she was only 15 years old.
Don has a 42-year-old son named Jesse, who was born during his five-year relationship with Patti D’Arbanville, who was known as a muse to artist Andy Warhol. This relationship ended in the year 1986.
