Dolph Lundgren, 67, and wife Emma Krokdal, 27, enjoy a beach day after hitting the gym together
As an ardent fan, I must say that Dolph Lundgren’s life story is nothing short of inspiring! The man is a true testament to resilience and determination. From battling cancer for nearly a decade to overcoming personal relationships and still managing to maintain his fitness regime at 67, he truly embodies the spirit of Rocky Balboa.
Dolph Lundgren enjoyed a relaxing Friday with his wife Emma Krokdal in sunny Los Angeles.
67-year-old actor was spotted working out at the gym alongside a 27-year-old fitness instructor, and later relaxing on the beach after their session.
At some point, Lundgren, clad in a dark blue exercise outfit, was spotted performing stretches outside his fitness center.
The main character from Rocky IV, who recently disclosed that he and his spouse have obtained U.S. citizenship after battling cancer for many years, opted for a T-shirt, coordinating shorts, and compression leggings.
He donned chunky black sneakers, toted a large gym bag and was seen enjoying a purple smoothie alongside his wife.
The filmmaker slicked back his silver blonde hair and donned a pair of dark aviator sunglasses.
At his side, his wife sported a black sweatshirt teamed with matching leggings and white sneakers.
Afterward, they were spotted relaxing on the sandy shore and snuggling together on a shared beach blanket.
Lundgren and his Norwegian wife have been wed for more than a year now, having exchanged vows during a private wedding at their Greek villa in Mykonos back in July 2023.
In the past, he was in a marriage with jewelry designer and fashion stylist Anette Qviberg, aged 58, that lasted from 1994 until 2011.
The former couple are parents to two daughters: Ida, 27, and Greta, 21.
Almost ten years following his split with Qviberg, he proposed to his current wife, Krokdal, in June of 2020.
After three years as an engaged couple, he disclosed that they had decided to formally express their love for each other, having had to delay their wedding because of the pandemic and his private struggle with cancer.
He confessed that he had been battling cancer for nearly a decade and also speculated whether his past use of steroids for bodybuilding was to blame.
During a chat on In Depth with Graham Besinger the previous year, he revealed that his initial diagnosis of kidney cancer occurred back in 2015.
He said he went into remission but then the cancer returned in 2020.
It was then he was told he had two to three years left to live, according to his doctor.
Lundgren remembered seeking advice from another healthcare provider, which led to the successful treatment he’s receiving currently.
