Dolly Parton announces makeup line ‘Dolly Beauty’ featuring lipsticks named after her hit songs

Her 78 years have been nothing short of extraordinary, and it seems that there’s no stopping this phenomenal woman. From her iconic music to her captivating personality, Dolly has always embodied a certain charm that transcends generations.
Dolly Parton is working “9 to 5” with a new brand launch.
78-year-old country music legend is debuting her cosmetics brand, “Dolly Beauty,” featuring the “Heaven’s Kiss” lipstick series, where each product bears a name inspired by one of her popular tunes.
On Tuesday, Parton playfully criticized the brand via an Instagram post, featuring a photo of herself seated in a makeup chair and clutching a lipstick tube.
“Since I feel elegant within, I wish to reflect that on the outside as well… Something exciting is coming up @dollybeauty,” Dolly Parton wrote in her caption.
As a passionate movie buff sharing my thoughts, I’m excited to mention that, in a recent chat with WWD, the legendary “Rockin’ Years” singer revealed an upcoming collection. This line is designed with inclusivity in mind, and it will feature lipsticks inspired by the vibrant hues of a “Coat of Many Colors.”
According to Parton, she prefers naming her products based on songs. She emphasizes the significance of producing makeup items that cater to those who use them, offering a range of colors to choose from.
In addition to unveiling “Dolly Beauty,” the artist behind “Jolene” shared that her ambition for beauty served as the motivation.
In her conversation with WWD, Parton expressed that she’s always thorough in exploring every possible opportunity. She’s shared that she’s longed to be beautiful, like many girls, particularly country girls with aspirations of glamour. As a child, she began creating homemade cosmetics, and for years, she has been recognized for her love of makeup – often wearing more than the average amount.
Prior to launching her makeup collection, Dolly Parton introduced a fragrance line titled “Scent From Above” in 2021. Speaking with WWD, the singer mentioned that releasing her perfume served as a crucial stepping stone for her.
“Parton expressed her long-standing desire for having a wig line of her own. However, she also shared her fondness for makeup. The creation of the fragrance line sparked her interest in makeup, leading her to consider it as the next logical step. Over time, they plan to release various makeup products, and possibly even hair care items or other beauty-related products. Essentially, anything related to beauty sparks new ideas and aspirations for her every day.”
“Dolly Beauty” will launch Aug. 22, and will be available through the brand’s website.
