As someone who has grown up listening to her music, watching her interviews, and marveling at her iconic style, this news feels like a dream come true.
Dolly Parton has announced plans for her own makeup line.
Legendary country musician known for the 9-to-5 grind has revealed her fresh beauty line, ‘Dolly Beauty’. This upcoming brand is set to debut with Dolly’s Heaven’s Kiss Lipstick Collection, where each product draws inspiration from her melodies.
Next to an expertly captured photo showing her seated in a makeup chair before a mirror, holding a lipstick, she posted on Instagram: ‘Feeling glamorous within, I desire to reflect that on the outside… Something new is approaching.’
Speaking to Women’s Wear Daily, she added: ‘I’ve always said I never leave a rhinestone unturned.’
Parton is know for her hit songs like Islands In The Stream and Jolene.

“For as long as I can remember, just like many other girls, including those with rural roots who aspire for a touch of glamour, I’ve always yearned to be beautiful,” she stated, emphasizing her point.
As a child, I began crafting small homemade cosmetics items, and ever since then, I’ve had a reputation for sporting makeup – often in excess – for numerous years.
The lipstick shades are called ‘Jolene Red’, ‘Honey Plum’, ‘Rosebud’ and ‘Birthday Suit’.
Beyond her music, she too draws inspiration for her products and overall brand from her personal experiences as a frequent shopper and user of makeup.
She explained: ‘Every time I put on makeup, I’ll find certain things I want to put in the line.
“I’m looking for a lovely, slightly thick lip gloss, maybe with a pearl-like sheen, or one that I’ve used before and can find tucked away in an old drawer – it was one I always loved.”
‘Lord knows, nobody wears more makeup than me, so I know all the little things I want.’
As a devoted advocate for this brand, I personally strive to immerse myself fully in every aspect, ensuring my hands-on involvement at all times.
She expressed that she tends to participate extensively in various activities, testing and sampling them along the way. If something doesn’t meet her expectations, she suggests adjustments like, “That’s not satisfactory, let’s reconsider and make changes instead.”
‘I’d like for the packaging, with my name on it, to remind them of me whenever they utilize it.’
