Under the guidance of director Nisha Ganatra, Freaky Friday unfolds a new chapter in the lives of Tess (Curtis) and her daughter Anna Coleman (Lohan), who previously found themselves unwillingly body-switched many years ago.

In her new role as Harper’s mom, Anna is planning to wed Eric and take on the responsibility of being stepmother to his child, Lily. As they navigate the complexities of blending their families, Anna and Tess face various challenges together.

In other words, when the unusual occurrence happens where both Tess and Anna transform into Lily and Harper, a series of amusing incidents and intense drama swiftly ensue.

Completing the ensemble, Mark Harmon, Chad Michael Murray, Rosalind Chao, and Christina Vidal will once again take on their characters from the initial movie.
