Doctor Who’s Karen Gillan pregnant with first child as she debuts baby bump

Former Doctor Who star Karen Gillan has revealed she is pregnant with her first child.
At the Toronto film festival, the actor, who has yet to make an official announcement about it, was spotted on the red carpet with a noticeably enlarged belly, as if holding a developing baby.
Gillan, wife of writer-comedian Nick Kocher, attended the debut of the movie “The Life of Chuck” in Canada.
In 2022, Karen Gillan, who played a role in Guardians of the Galaxy, tied the knot with comedian Andrew Kocher at Castle Toward located in Argyll, Scotland.
They made their marriage vows with family, friends, and also Steven Moffat, who was once Karen’s boss on “Doctor Who,” looking on.
Kocher, known for his work on shows like Saturday Night Live and It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, recently connected with Gillan following a Twitter message, who is now identified as X.
Wow, I reached out to him through private messages on Instagram,” Gillan shared on the show Live with Kelly and Mark in 2023. “Instagram suggested him as a potential friend.
“The algorithm is tearing the country apart but it brought me together with my guy.”
Instead of directly communicating with him after he didn’t respond, she decided to send a message on Twitter. Her message went something like this: “Hi, your tweets are quite amusing. By the way, I’m Karen,” However, it wasn’t particularly engaging as she hadn’t found his tweets very captivating.
Gillan, fresh from her role as Madeline in the canceled TV show “Douglas,” will soon appear on the silver screen in the movie titled “The Life of Chuck.
The movie, which is based on a short story by Stephen King, stars Tom Hiddleston in the lead role of Charles Krantz, whose life story will be told in reverse.
The movie starts by showing Chuck dying at 39 due to a brain tumor, and then it traces back the events in his life.
The Life of Chuck does not yet have a theatrical release date.
