Doctor Who’s Karen Gillan announces birth of daughter and reveals cute name

As a long-time fan of Doctor Who, I couldn’t be more thrilled for Karen Gillan and her family! It’s always heartwarming to see my favorite actors from the show embarking on new adventures in their personal lives. The birth of Clementine is a beautiful addition to the Whoverse, and I can’t wait to see what kind of adventures she will have as she grows up.

I remember watching Karen play Amy Pond with great affection, and it’s amazing to think that she’s now a mother herself. It just goes to show that even time lords can experience the joys and challenges of parenthood! I’m also glad to see that she’s keeping up the tradition of giving her child a unique name, just like her character did with River Song.

It’s great to see so many familiar faces from the world of Doctor Who offering their congratulations, from Tom Payne and David Dastmalchian to Millie Gibson and Brett Goldstein. It truly feels like a big Whovian family coming together to celebrate this joyous occasion.

I can’t help but wonder what kind of adventures Clementine will have in her own life, and whether she’ll grow up to become a Time Lord herself one day. And if she does, I hope she gets to meet the Doctor and travel through time and space just like her mother once did!

On a lighter note, I can’t help but joke that Clementine is already more famous than me since she’s been mentioned in the same sentence as Daniel Day-Lewis. But hey, a girl’s gotta dream, right? Congratulations again to Karen, Nick, and baby Clementine! May your adventures together be as exciting as those of the Doctor himself! 👩‍🚀🎈🎉

Actress Karen Gillan, who was once a part of “Doctor Who,” recently shared that she has given birth to her child and unveiled her adorable name at the same time.

For a period of three years on the British science fiction series, an actress portrayed Amy Pond, her role ending in 2013. In May 2022, she tied the knot with comedian Nick Kocher during a Scottish wedding ceremony. They joyfully announced in September that they are expecting their first child together.

As a long-time fan of Gillan and her family, it was heartwarming to see their recent Instagram post filled with joyful pictures of their new addition – a baby girl named Clementine. Having followed their journey for years, I can’t help but feel a sense of connection to them as they welcome this precious little one into the world. It’s moments like these that remind us all of the beauty and wonder of life, and I couldn’t be happier for them as they start this new chapter together. Congratulations, Gillan family! 🍊❤️ #Clementine2024

Doctor Who's Karen Gillan announces birth of daughter and reveals cute name

As mentioned in the previous slide, I happened to produce a movie titled “Let’s Have Kids” around the same time I found myself expecting in real life. So, if anyone thinks they can top that acting performance, Daniel Day Lewis, feel free to try! I should add that I’ve also starred in the Jumanji film series, just like the legendary method actor himself.

One follower expressed, “Clementine is the sweetest name I adore her 😘❤️💕,” while another wrote, “Clementine’s a lovely name, especially if she inherits Mum’s hair 🔥😂Congratulations love!” This sentiment was mirrored by a third user, who said, “Wow congratulations!!!!! Clementine is such an adorable name! ❤️

Additionally, notable figures added their thoughts, including Tom Payne from “The Walking Dead” who wrote: “Congratulations! Welcome to a new chapter 😂❤️”. David Dastmalchian, known for his role with Gillan in “All Creatures Here Below”, responded with five heart emojis.

Woah! That’s me they’re congratulating! Millie Gibson from Coronation Street and Doctor Who just sent out a big ‘Aww yiss!! Congratulations!’ while Brett Goldstein, the guy from Ted Lasso, chimed in with an equally enthusiastic ‘Ahhhhhhh CONGRATULATIONS you three ❤️’. Guess it’s time to celebrate! 🎉🥳

In the United Kingdom, you can catch Doctor Who on BBC One, while it’s aired on Disney+ everywhere else. For those in the UK, classic episodes of Doctor Who can be found on BBC iPlayer.
