Doctor Who star Georgia Tennant returns for new spin-off

As a long-time Whovian with a soft spot for the TARDIS and its enigmatic inhabitants, I must say Georgia Tennant‘s return as Jenny, The Doctor’s Daughter, fills me with uncontainable excitement! Ever since her introduction back in 2008, Jenny has been weaving her own unique tapestry across the Whoniverse, and it’s a joy to see her embark on more adventures.

Georgia Tennant has returned to the Whoniverse with a new Doctor Who audio series from Big Finish.

Today, you can catch the actor portraying the title character once again in “Jenny – The Doctor’s Daughter: Saving Time,” a sequel to the 2008 “Doctor Who” episode titled “The Doctor’s Daughter.

Ever since her debut in the TV series, Jenny has embarked on solo journeys through space and time.

In our last encounter with the character, it was during Big Finish’s 2021 audio series called “Still Running“, where she narrowly evaded a cyborg bounty hunter and subsequently reconnected with her dearest friend Noah (Sean Biggerstaff).

Continuing from the suspenseful point, the narrative moves forward with Jenny and Noah embarking on a fresh quartet of exciting journeys.

Indeed, amidst all these challenges that we’re currently facing, it seems like it’s none other than the formidable Jexabel Glyce (Anna Lundberg), the wealthiest cosmic tycoon, who’s stirring up trouble this time.

Jenny, being modeled after the Doctor’s design, often finds herself in a multitude of predicaments. It’s not surprising at all.

Journeying through the cosmos alongside an enigmatic youngster named Noah, who hails from an unknown origin, they managed to evade the relentless pursuit of mercenaries. However, their actions unintentionally disrupted the sequencing of time.

Currently, Jenny needs to devise a method to rescue both herself and her companion, with the additional objective of potentially preserving time as well.

The audio series also features the return of two other characters: Simon Fisher-Becker as black marketeer Dorium Maldovar and Stuart Milligan as slippery conman Garundel.
