Doctor Who shares how Susan Twist will return to the Whoniverse

As a seasoned gamer and Whovian, I must say that the return of Susan Twist to the Doctor Who universe has sent me into a time vortex of excitement! Ever since her enigmatic appearances as echoes throughout space and time during Ncuti Gatwa’s first season, I’ve been longing for more of her mystery.

Doctor Who guest star Susan Twist has lined up a return to the Whoniverse.

In Ncuti Gatwa’s initial season, Susan made various appearances, seemingly reflections of the character Susan Triad across different spatiotemporal dimensions.

Currently, Twist is set to share the tale of one out of two upcoming Doctor Who audiobooks due this fall. In the audiobook titled “Doctor Who: On Ghost Beach“, Twist will recite an intriguing narrative where The Doctor and Ruby unexpectedly land at Seaham Chemical Beach in 1958.

In this former bustling industrial city, there lingers an eerie echo of the Phantom Shoreline, a spectral beach reminiscent of Desolation Sea on the distant world Farfrom. Not long after, The Doctor and Ruby find themselves plagued by identical hallucinations that the townsfolk also endure.

“Ghost Beach with Doctor Who,” penned by Niel Bushnell, is set to be launched on November 7th. Pre-orders are now open on Amazon at a price of £8.42.

The upcoming second audiobook by Darren Jones titled “Sting of the Sasquatch,” published by BBC, is set to be released simultaneously. You can now pre-order it on Amazon for just £8.42.

In this retelling, it’s Genesis Lynea – known for her role as UNIT defector Harriet Arbinger (or The Harbinger) from the latest “Doctor Who” series – who guides us through the narrative. Here, our beloved Doctor and companion Ruby find themselves hotly pursued by a monkey-like creature in the heart of an American national park.

In the heart of a conflict between sasquatch trackers and a forest warden, the TARDIS group finds themselves caught up, just as a mysterious being snatches Ruby. With the clock ticking, The Doctor embarks on a frantic struggle to rescue his friend, navigating both time and space.

Previously, the BBC had announced that three additional books featuring the 15th Doctor would be released this fall. These books will include new stories written by Neil Gaiman, Faridah Abike-Iyimide, author of “Ace of Spades,” and Charlie Higson, known for his “Young Bond” series.

In the UK, you can catch Doctor Who on BBC One, while viewers outside the UK can find it on Disney+. For those in the UK, there are also classic episodes of Doctor Who accessible on BBC iPlayer.
