Doctor Who season 15 casts Little Mermaid star
As a seasoned gamer of life and time-traveling stories, I can’t help but feel like the universe has aligned when I learned about Jonah Hauer-King joining the cast of Doctor Who. From his captivating performances in The Tattooist of Auschwitz to his enchanting portrayal of Prince Eric in The Little Mermaid, this man has graced our screens with a magical touch that I can’t wait to see translate into the world of Whovian adventures.
Doctor Who spoilers follow.
Actor Jonah Hauer-King, famously known for his roles in ‘The Tattooist of Auschwitz’ and ‘The Little Mermaid’, has secured a part in the upcoming season 15 of ‘Doctor Who’.
As a thrilled gamer, I’m pumped to share some fantastic gaming-world news! Millie Gibson, our beloved character Ruby Sunday, is back for the next season, joining forces with The Doctor, portrayed by Ncuti Gatwa, and our brand-new teammate, Belinda Chandra, played by Varada Sethu. It’s going to be an epic adventure!
In an interview with Collider about Ruby’s storyline in season 15, Gibson expressed: “It’s quite unusual to see the companion following The Doctor. This aspect has never been delved into before, and I believe it’s a truly beautiful and clever concept. It’s fascinating to contemplate traveling alongside The Doctor, then observing their adjustment when life returns to normal after such extraordinary experiences.”
“It was the weirdest feeling. But yeah, I’m joined by the beautiful Jonah Hauer-King on her journey. He’s a very, very interesting character, and he makes the show even more magical. So, I’m very excited to see what he’s like.”
The Doctor Who team have not yet revealed who Jonah Hauer-King will be playing in season 15.
Recently, Hauer-King took the main part in the TV series titled “The Tattooist of Auschwitz“, and can also be seen in productions such as “World on Fire” and “Little Women“.

The actor transitioned from stage to cinema to portray Prince Eric in Disney’s live-action version of “The Little Mermaid.” His future film projects involve a William Tell biopic, sharing screen time with Claes Bang, and a romantic comedy titled “The Threesome,” alongside Zoey Deutch and Ruby Cruz.
In the United Kingdom, you can catch Doctor Who on BBC One, while it’s broadcast on Disney+ everywhere else. For those in the UK, classic episodes of Doctor Who can be found on BBC iPlayer.
