Penned by Francis Scott Key, these words were so captivating that someone felt compelled to compose a melody that would stir emotions within listeners – a task successfully accomplished, I might add! The intricate notes of this anthem continue to keep singers on their toes even today.

It appears unlikely that the Iron Maiden frontman, Bruce Dickinson, is the Englishman in question. Instead, it seems he was born to sing American songs. Unfortunately, he won’t be performing during the halftime show this time around. (Although, technically speaking, it isn’t impossible; it’s more of a wish.)
