Jordan Banjo credits boxing with helping him turn his life around, sharing before-and-after photos on Saturday that showcase his impressive weight loss journey.
Oh my gosh, you guys, I was scrolling and I just had to share! Ashley Banjo, the absolute DREAM from Diversity and Britain’s Got Talent, was showing off his incredible physique at the gym! Seriously, those muscles are insane! He was posing with his trainer, and I’m just…wow. He looks amazing, as always! I’ve been a fan forever, and he just keeps getting better!
Before sharing the recent photo, he posted an older one from 2023. It showed him with his two-year-old son, Atreus, who he shares with his wife, Naomi Courts, lying on his chest.
Jordan shared before-and-after photos and thanked boxing in the caption, urging his followers to focus on their well-being and pursue their passions.
I saw this post the other day, and it really resonated with me. It showed a message about how it’s a new year, and everyone’s excited to set goals and hoping this will finally be their year – you know, the one where things really click! It just felt so relatable.
It’s easy to get caught up in chasing future goals and overlook how much we’ve already achieved.

I just wanted to share a quick story. The first picture was taken in 2023, shortly after my third child was born. At that time, I was focusing on everything except taking care of myself.
Since 2020, my health had been steadily declining, and I lacked the energy and self-control to turn things around.
I was incredibly busy and having more career success than ever before, but I still couldn’t figure out how to address my personal unhappiness. That’s when I discovered boxing…
The reality TV star continued to talk about how much boxing changed his life, and the difficulties he faced along the way.
I’ve always loved watching the sport, but actually training in boxing has been a real eye-opener!
I’ve been dancing since I was a child, so I’m confident and can usually make even tricky situations look polished.
Starting boxing at 30 quickly teaches you that being unprepared, both physically and especially mentally, has serious consequences.
Just a quick reminder: don’t wait to pursue your goals. Start today, taking things one day at a time, and soon you’ll be surprised by how much you’ve accomplished and how well you’re doing.

Starting boxing has dramatically improved my life, in everything I do – from dancing and my work, to being a father.
The discipline and life lessons I’ve learned from boxing – both positive and negative – have been incredibly valuable. I’m grateful for boxing itself, and for all the people who have supported me along the way.
Jordan and his wife, Naomi, are also parents to six-year-old Cassius Ashley and five-year-old Mayowa, who they call Mimi.
Diversity became well-known after winning the ITV talent show in 2009, finishing ahead of Susan Boyle.
