Dita Von Teese, 52, steals the show in a glitzy silver bejewelled gown for the world premiere of her Diamonds and Dust burlesque show

At the debut of her Diamonds and Dust performance, Dita Von Teese donned an eye-catching outfit: a shimmering, gem-studded and sequined silver dress.

The renowned burlesque performer, aged 52, is set to offer an innovative theater performance filled with ‘elevated elegance, strong-willed females, and risky antics’ at the Emerald Theatre in London.

On Thursday’s grand debut, Dita captured everyone’s attention in an awe-inspiring silver dress, adorned with a jeweled torso piece and a sparkling train skirt.

I matched my ensemble with elegant silver strappy heels and sparkling diamond drop earrings, while sporting my trademark black tresses swept back in a sophisticated 1930s-inspired hairstyle.

At the debut event, Dita was accompanied by a multitude of celebrities, among them being Faye Tozer, who starred in the movie Diamonds and Dust.

In a fitting tribute to the founder’s style, actress Faye, known for her role as Miss Kitty LeRoy, donned a boat-neck, figure-hugging dress adorned with jewels.

Faye, who plays Miss Kitty LeRoy, mirrored the founder’s style in a stylish boat-neck, bejeweled gown that accentuated her figure.

Faye accessorized her appearance with diamante high heels and diamond dangle earrings, while her hair was styled into full, wavy curls.

Additionally, present on Thursday was the ex-star of Made In Chelsea, Louise Thompson, who chose a straightforward yet elegant outfit.

The television personality and activist made an appearance at the premiere wearing a flowing black maxi-dress with a stylish drape, complemented by a Louis Vuitton handbag and elegant gold earrings.

Another reality star spotted on the red carpet was Married At First Sight UK’s Ella Morgan.

She exuded elegance while wearing a sleek black halter-necked satin dress with a deep-cut cowl neckline, and accessorized with a golden metallic handbag.

Simultaneously, Boy George stepped into view wearing a bold, star-studded pink hat and eye-catching black sneakers featuring rope laces.

Great British Bake Off star Candice Brown was among those at the premiere.

In a captivating, vibrant ensemble of hot pink and red satin, tightly fitted and accentuating her figure, the baker stood out with an alluring neckline that showcased a revealing cut-out.

Lady Mary Charteris and the model turned heads at the event with their bold fashion choices, both sporting transparent knit dresses adorned with intricate beadwork.

Beneath her gown, Mary exposed her bra and underwear, and she adorned the garment with a vibrant red-pink skull scarf as an accessory.

Meanwhile, the professional dancer from Strictly Come Dancing, Nadiya Bychkova, was stunningly elegant in a set consisting of black satin shorts, a coordinating velvet bralet, and a blazer.

At the red carpet event, Aljaz Skorjanec from Strictly was spotted, elegantly dressed in a burgundy suit.

Known for reviving the art of burlesque, Dita (originally Heather Renée Sweet) is a renowned American showgirl and entrepreneur.

In simpler terms, a vedette refers to the primary female performer in a stage show that originates from cabaret and related genres such as revue, vaudeville, music hall, or burlesque.

At the start of January, Dita captivated Lorraine’s audience with an alluring plunge dress, disclosing what she called “the most audacious task of her career” during the popular daytime program.

Wearing a black midi Vivienne Westwood dress, the burlesque star, 52, dazzled on today’s ITV show.

The dress she wore, with a style that exuded elegance, featured a design where the top was collected fabric, accompanied by long, slender sleeves. Additionally, it had fastenings down the front in the form of buttons.

The model opened up to Lorraine Kelly about her time on The Masked Dancer.

In 2021, Dita made her appearance on an ITV competition while donning a costume that resembled a beetroot. Her outfit consisted of a green and purple dress, and she accessorized with a mask in the form of the vegetable.

She told Lorraine about her struggle with vertigo, which she developed after riding a mechanical bull, making it tough for her to dance during the show.

Dita shared: “I experienced dizziness after riding the mechanical bull, as I was spinning my head while on it, I apparently triggered a bout of vertigo that persisted for a whole year. Now, I’m participating in The Masked Dancer despite this persistent issue with my head and the blinding floor lights, oh boy, they were wild, absolutely outrageous!

The dancer remarked, “That was one of the toughest experiences of my life, yet it had a hilarious side that I found endearing.

The show was filmed during the Covid pandemic and Dita stayed at Claridges during the filming.

Dita mentioned that it was her most cherished experience, apart from performing and enjoying myself, it happened just as the pandemic broke out and there was a complete lockdown in place. I was the sole visitor at Claridge’s during that time.

She enjoyed a mostly empty hotel and ‘special treatment’ during her stay.

‘I was the only one using it, as I’d gracefully descend those stairs in the mornings wearing my nightgown. There weren’t many staff members around, and since I was acquainted with the hotel, they were happy to let me stay there because I was a friend.’ Dita explained.
