Disney’s ‘Woke’ Snow White Film Flop Costs $115M: Star Rachel Zegler’s Sad NYC Outing
This week, I found myself reflecting deeply as I walked the streets of New York City, my spirits slightly dampened after the disappointing box office reception of my recent movie, Snow White.
23-year-old actress, who’s recently faced criticism due to her movie’s poor performance in cinemas amid a series of scandals, was seen taking her pet for a walk.
In the ‘awake’ movie, Rachel wore a roomy denim jacket with a blue shirt underneath, a set of spacious gray tracksuit pants, and a pair of Adidas running shoes.
She wore a broad black headband to keep her long, dark tresses away, and she seemed to have opted against makeup for this excursion. A conspicuous, green star-shaped blemish patch was noticeable on her forehead.
At some point, she paused, settling down, wrapping an arm around her adorable Goldendoodle named Lenny, and keeping her phone in the other hand.
It comes amid claims that Disney will likely suffer a loss of $115 million from the film.
Disney’s film Snow White is facing some significant financial disappointments, as a recent report suggests it might experience a substantial loss at the movie theater earnings.
The movie is said to have a massive production cost ranging from 240 million to 270 million dollars, excluding the numerous millions spent on promotion and marketing.
Initially, Snow White earned $42.2 million at the U.S. box office during its opening weekend, but in its second week, it experienced a significant decrease of approximately 66%, bringing down its earnings substantially.
