Disney’s “brisk and entertaining” adaptation of one of its biggest movies is now available to watch at home

Experience the lively and enjoyable adaptation, titled “Frozen: The Broadway Musical“, based on Disney’s beloved animated feature, right in your own home!

In this revamped stage production, inspired by the blockbuster movie from 2013, the narrative revolves around the bond shared by estranged siblings Elsa and Anna. They find themselves needing to join forces to safeguard their kingdom, Arendelle.

The show made its Broadway debut in 2018 and toured across North America the following year. It then opened in London’s West End in 2021, and all major productions came to an end in 2024 after a highly successful run on stage.

The musical production garnered widespread acclaim from both fans and experts, as The Daily Telegraph commended it for being a lively and engaging remake with a more somber atmosphere compared to the original version.

In simpler terms, the London Evening Standard emphasized themes of empowerment and acceptance, while also noting its swift pacing. TimeOut described it as a powerful and captivating display, suggesting it had even greater heart, complexity, and darker undertones compared to the initial movie.

Currently, you can find the movie on Disney+. However, Josh Gad, the voice behind Olaf the Snowman, expressed remorse about his character’s portrayal in the past year.

If given another chance, he would have chosen not to give the snowman his voice and instead created a unique voice for it. He shared this thought later on.
