Marvel Studios is postponing the release date of Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars.

Disney has changed the release date for “Doomsday” from May 1, 2026, to December 18, 2026. In contrast, the sequel, titled “Secret Wars,” will now debut on December 17, 2027, instead of its original date on May 7, 2027.

Along with changing the release dates of the Avengers movies, Disney has also taken away several Marvel projects from their schedule. One of these was a project originally planned for February 13, 2026, as well as two other Marvel titles set for November 6, 2026 and November 5, 2027. These last three have been rebranded as Untitled Disney films instead.

In 2026, it’s just Marvel’s “Avengers: End of All Things” and Sony’s “Spider-Man: Fresh Start” that will be making their big screen debuts within the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
