Disney+ Just Unveiled Marvel’s 4th Hawkeye Actor

Disney+ now showcases four different actors who have played Hawkeye throughout the Marvel universe. Known for being both a traditional hero and a sometimes-rough vigilante, Hawkeye has become a key character in Marvel, especially thanks to his appearances in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). But his impact extends beyond the MCU, as demonstrated by a recent Marvel project now available on Disney+.

Troy Baker, a well-known voice actor, recently became the fourth performer to portray Hawkeye in a Marvel project available only on Disney+. While he’s currently famous for his role in HBO’s The Last of Us, Baker has a significant history with Marvel, having voiced characters like Loki, Kraven the Hunter, and the Red Guardian.

Jeremy Baker returns as Hawkeye in LEGO Avengers: Strange Tails, now streaming on Disney+. The story revolves around a dangerous social media personality who puts the world at risk, forcing Hawkeye and the Avengers to team up and prepare for battle.

3 Other Actors To Play Hawkeye in Disney+ Exclusives

Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye, What If…?)

Jeremy Renner first appeared as Hawkeye (Clint Barton) in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the 2011 film Thor, and he’s been playing the character ever since. While fans eagerly await his return to live-action roles following a serious accident, he’s recently appeared in two Disney+ series: Hawkeye and Marvel Zombies.

The series Hawkeye showcased Jeremy Renner as Clint Barton, who came out of retirement to mentor Kate Bishop and ultimately confront the Kingpin and his criminal organization during the holidays. Renner also lent his voice to the Hawkeye character in several episodes of What If…?, including one that explored a post-apocalyptic world where Ultron nearly destroyed humanity, focusing on Barton and Natasha Romanoff’s efforts to rebuild.

Hailee Steinfeld (Hawkeye, What If…?, Marvel Zombies)

In 2021, Hailee Steinfeld joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Kate Bishop, a skilled archer. While she made a brief appearance in the 2023 film The Marvels, most of her work as the character has been in the Disney+ series Hawkeye and Marvel Zombies.

Kate Bishop starred alongside Clint Barton in Hawkeye, where they battled the Tracksuit Mafia and uncovered secrets about Kate’s mother’s connections to Kingpin and Yelena Belova. In Marvel Zombies, Kate appeared briefly in the first episode, seemingly dying, but then returned in episode four during a strange, reality-bending event.

Nick A. Fisher (Iron Man and His Awesome Friends)

Nick A. Fisher, a young actor, is now the newest performer to take on the role of the famous Marvel archer in the Disney+ series, joining the cast of Iron Man and his Awesome Friends starting in 2025.

In Episode 16, “The Tale of Hawkeye/Iron Sleepover,” a version of Hawkeye played by Fisher teams up with Tony Stark to investigate a series of local thefts, discovering Absorbing Man is the culprit. Though this is his only appearance so far, he demonstrates his signature archery skills while fighting alongside Iron Man, Ironheart, and Iron Hulk.
