As a gamer with over two decades of pixel-pushing and quest-completing under my belt, I must say that the addition of Timon and Pumbaa to Disney Dreamlight Valley has me all a-quiver with anticipation! Growing up with The Lion King on VHS (yes, I’m dating myself here), these characters hold a special place in my heart.
The road map for Disney Dreamlight Valley, for the near future, includes Timon and Pumbaa.
In October, you’ll find an unusual duo of meerkats and warthogs appearing in the game. So, get your mind ready for this unexpected encounter.
In a post on Steam (via Eurogamer), Disney Dreamlight Valley creative director Joshua Labelle said:
“For our upcoming October release, we’re concentrating on minor adjustments and optimizations, primarily addressing bug fixes and user-friendly enhancements. This is part of our strategy to make your gaming experience even smoother and more enjoyable before we unveil a larger update towards the end of the year.”
Despite current updates being somewhat slimmer, developer Gameloft hints at potential releases scheduled for the latter part of this year.
“According to the plan, we’ll sew a fresh enigma, showcasing an image of Sally’s dress from The Nightmare Before Christmas. It sounds like it will be a delightful holiday treat!”
