Disney+ Confirms 3 Marvel Releases for January 2026

In January 2026, Disney+ will add three new Marvel movies and shows to its streaming library. Over the past year, Disney+ has expanded its offerings beyond just Disney-owned content, including more mature titles and projects from other studios. This constant rotation of movies and series keeps the platform fresh and prevents subscribers from running out of new things to watch.

Disney+ announced that in January 2026, they’ll be adding three new Marvel projects. These projects are quite diverse – they aren’t connected to the same storyline, will include both animated and live-action shows, and will feature a combination of original content and previously released titles.

Marvel is gearing up for a huge 2026! The biggest event will be the release of Avengers: Doomsday in December, but fans also have a new Spider-Man movie and several original series on Disney+ to look forward to.

Marvel’s 3 Projects Coming to Disney+ in January 2026

Spidey and his Amazing Friends Season 4 – January 10

Season 4 of Spidey and his Amazing Friends is now starting to appear on Disney Junior and Disney+. The remaining episodes will become available in January 2025, with a new story arc called “Water-Webs” debuting on January 10th. This arc will see Spidey and his friends battling pirates!

Once Season 4 is complete, all episodes will be available to stream on Disney+. Plus, Disney has already announced a fifth season, meaning more new episodes of the show are on their way to Disney+ in the future.

Disney+’s popularity is clear with the recent success of Spidey and his Amazing Friends, which has become another hit show on the platform.

Venom: Let There Be Carnage – January 22

The movie Venom: Let There Be Carnage, released in 2021, will be available to stream on Disney+ starting January 22, 2026. Produced by Sony Pictures, it’s the second film in the Venom series starring Tom Hardy, which concluded in 2024.

The movie Let There Be Carnage features Woody Harrelson as Carnage. It’s currently available on Disney+ thanks to a deal between Sony and Disney. While Sony has a deal with Netflix to stream its films first, after a certain time, Sony can choose to make those movies available on other streaming services, like Disney+.

Wonder Man – January 27

The first new Marvel Studios show of 2026 will be Wonder Man, debuting on Disney+ on January 27th. It’s currently the only Marvel project scheduled to premiere on the streaming service that month.

The upcoming series Wonder Man centers on Simon Williams (Yahya Abdul-Mateen II), an actor who plays the superhero Wonder Man in a movie within the Marvel Cinematic Universe. During production, Simon unexpectedly gains the actual powers of Wonder Man, transforming him into the real hero.

Marvel Studios has several new projects planned for 2026. That includes the second season of Daredevil: Born Again, along with a special presentation featuring The Punisher. Movie fans can look forward to Spider-Man: Brand New Day in July and Avengers: Doomsday in December.
