Disney announces exciting change to Agatha All Along release time

As September approaches, Disney+ has unveiled their streaming schedule for the month, surprising fans with the early-day release of “Agatha All Along” episodes, which was previously anticipated to be later in the day.

According to the September lineup on Disney+, it’s been confirmed that fresh episodes of “Agatha All Along” will air at 9 pm ET, marking a shift from its previous late-night release at 3 am ET. This change follows the trend initiated by the second season of “Loki,” where Disney+ started testing primetime premieres for original shows.

Disney+’s prime-time premiere strategy has proven extremely effective, beginning with “Loki” and most recently “Percy Jackson.” This approach allows viewers to watch the shows at their debut, making them appointment viewing as audiences can now gather nightly to enjoy the episodes together. As a result, there’s a surge in online discussions about these shows because more fans are tuning in simultaneously.

As a busy working professional who often finds myself juggling multiple responsibilities, I can attest to the convenience of having access to content released at more flexible times. For instance, being able to stream episodes that drop in the middle of the night without worrying about spoilers has been a game-changer for me. It’s intriguing to anticipate the duration of the upcoming episodes for various Marvel Disney+ series, as their lengths have varied. Given the pattern set by shows like WandaVision, which ranged from 27 to 47 minutes per episode and had some of the longest episodes in the final season, it seems likely that future episodes will be around this length too.
