As a gaming enthusiast, I’m always excited for special events, and here’s one I can’t wait for – the return of Disney After Hours! Disney’s been creative with their strategies to keep us guests engaged, and this is one of them. It’s an exclusive ticketed event happening on selected nights across the Disney World parks throughout the year. You see, it allows a limited number of us gamers (or park visitors, if you prefer) to experience the magic after dark, without the usual crowds!

Disney After Hours starts park entry at 7:00 p.m., continuing operation for guests up to three hours past the usual closing time. Fewer tickets are typically sold, leading to reduced lines for rides and character encounters, plus free treats like ice cream, popcorn, and selected drinks.

Disney After Hours dates and times at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Disney’s Hollywood Studios will host Disney After Hours events from the 22nd of January to the 3rd of September 2025. These special evenings are scheduled for the following dates:

January 22 and 29
February 12 and 19
March 5 and 26
April 1 and 30
May 14 and 28
June 4, 11 and 25
July 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30
August 6, 20 and 27
September 3

Disney indicates that the event generally transpires between 9:30 p.m. and 12:30 a.m., except for certain dates. On March 26 and April 1, 2025, the event will occur specifically from 10:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.

How much does Disney After Hours cost?

Pricing for Disney After Hours varies depending on the park and date you choose. For Hollywood Studios specifically, tickets range from $155 to $185 per ticket, plus tax.

Guests staying at Disney Resort hotels (including Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin, as well as Shades of Green) can purchase their tickets starting from September 4th. For everyone else, ticket sales will begin online from September 10, 2024. Here you can find the ticket prices.
