Dismembered body found in singer D4vd’s Tesla has been identified as missing girl, 15

The remains discovered in singer D4vd’s Tesla have been identified as Celeste Rivas, a woman who had been missing from Lake Elsinore, California since April 2024.

The victim’s mother said she thinks her 15-year-old daughter fits the description police gave of the person involved.

Last week, authorities discovered a deceased body in the trunk of a Tesla owned by the 20-year-old pop star. The car had been impounded.

Los Angeles police officers found something disturbing after people reported a bad smell coming from a car.

According to TMZ, the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner has identified the victim as of Tuesday.

ABC 7 Los Angeles reported earlier this week that the body discovered was a girl between 14 and 15 years old.

As a lifestyle expert, I’m sharing details released by authorities to help with identification. They’ve described the individual as a woman, approximately 5’1″ tall and weighing around 71 pounds, with black hair. A notable feature is a small tattoo on her right index finger – it says ‘Shhh…’.

TMZ reports she was found wearing a tube top, black leggings, and two pieces of jewelry: a metal stud earring and a W-shaped metal bracelet.

I was shocked to learn, through the police, that D4vd – David Anthony Burke – had his Tesla impounded. The details were really awful, honestly; it was a terrible situation.

A representative for D4vd confirmed to NBC Los Angeles that the singer is aware of the situation. They also stated that despite being on tour, he is working with law enforcement.

It’s unknown if the singer, famous for songs like ‘Here with Me’ and ‘Romantic Homicide,’ had lent his Tesla to another person, or if the car was stolen.

According to police, the car had been held at the impound lot for several days, and a body was found inside a bag in the front trunk.

Footage captured by ABC 7 showed police surrounding the car before it was eventually towed away.

The car, originally from Texas, was found abandoned in the Hollywood Hills before being taken to the impound lot.

D4vd is in the middle of a world tour, with dates across Europe set for next month.

I was thrilled to be a musical guest on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert earlier this year – it was an amazing experience following my performance at Coachella! It really felt like a dream come true, taking the energy from the festival to late-night television.

Shortly before reports connected him to the abandoned Tesla, the musician promoted the expanded edition of his first album, Withered.

On September 7th, he announced to his 2.1 million Instagram followers that ‘Withered Deluxe: Marcescence’ will be released on September 19th!

I wrote every song on this project entirely on my phone. It’s a passion project I created to keep the emotional honesty and meaning in my music, and to share that with all of you.

I’m so grateful for all the friends who helped me with this! They absolutely nailed their parts. ❤️❤️❤️

He has not posted on his Instagram grid since then.
