Disgraced former Channel Seven star Andrew O’Keefe adds to his numerous fashion fails as he wears bizarre neon pink glasses and printed shorts while exercising in the wake of his legal dramas

Former television personality Andrew O’Keefe, who has faced public scandal, was recently seen in a very unusual outfit, drawing attention to himself.

The former host of Deal or No Deal, 54, was seen working out in Potts Point on Saturday. He was wearing brightly colored rainbow shorts.

He paired the unusual jacket with a grey sweatshirt and bright pink glasses, which were similar to a pair of green glasses he’d worn before.

Andrew completed his look with a pair of cream sneakers and socks.

Enjoying the sunshine, he appeared relaxed as he pounded the pavement through a local park.

It’s not the first time Andrew has made headlines for his odd fashion choices.

He turned heads in June when he was spotted in Bondi wearing a brightly coloured jacket with an animal print.

Pictures from that period show the actor smoking and looking at his phone while wearing bright green glasses.

He paired the unusual shirt with tan chinos and light blue sneakers, worn over bright red socks.

People noticed his unique fashion choices in 2019, especially when he swam at Bondi Beach wearing brightly patterned green swim trunks.

As someone who follows wellness journeys closely, I’ve been following Patrick O’Keefe’s story with empathy. He’s been very open about his struggles with addiction, and it’s been a challenging few years with him going through periods of recovery and needing to return to rehab for support. It takes incredible courage to face these battles publicly, and I wish him all the best on his continued path to health.

After facing complaints about still being an Order of Australia recipient despite his assault and drug convictions, he was required to return the honor in June.

In February, he appeared in Waverley Local Court and admitted to driving under the influence of methamphetamine. He received a $440 fine and had his driver’s license suspended for six months.

Last July, the ex-host of Deal or No Deal tested positive for methamphetamine while driving his Mercedes C200 in Sydney’s eastern suburbs.

After spending three months in rehab abroad, O’Keefe seemed relaxed and in good spirits. He spoke cheerfully with his lawyers and the police while waiting for his case to be called.

Jahan Kalantar, the defendant’s lawyer, told the court that his client admitted to having a history of traffic violations and a long-term battle with drug addiction.

Mr. Kalantar stated that O’Keefe had actively worked to overcome his issues with drugs, and provided documentation showing he completed a three-month stay at a rehabilitation center.

The former television personality admitted guilt in October to charges of trespassing, violating a restraining order, and possessing methamphetamine.

Just before being stopped by police on July 28th, O’Keefe had an encounter with a man at a property in Point Piper that he was not allowed to be at.

Judge Michael Barko read a letter of apology from O’Keefe and considered it to be truly heartfelt and honest.

He warned the former television personality that imprisonment was the inevitable next consequence, emphasizing he wasn’t making an empty threat.

After being released on bail following a court appearance, O’Keefe was arrested again in September. Police found methamphetamine in his car during a search at the Rose Bay police station.

Just two days before, O’Keefe had a heroin overdose at a party and was brought back to consciousness by paramedics.

On September 14th of last year, 38-year-old Elisha Dalah provided heroin to O’Keefe at his home in Vaucluse, a suburb of eastern Sydney. O’Keefe subsequently overdosed, but Dalah performed CPR and was able to revive him.

Michael Dalah, a millionaire and former co-owner of Elizabeth Bay Marina, has publicly addressed the situation after disturbing details came to light.

A Sydney socialite helped a fallen TV star by cleaning up after he vomited and administering Narcan, a medication that reverses the effects of heroin. He was then transported to St. Vincent’s Hospital.

Dalah pleaded guilty to supplying heroin and was ordered to undertake a rehabilitation program.

O’Keefe was ordered to complete a 30-month period of community service, including attending rehab, and was also fined $1,500.

Magistrate Milledge admitted his life had spiraled out of control, and he felt it was up to him to get things back on track.

‘I know domestic violence is a factor in your offending and that is awful, truly awful,’ she said.

‘You got into the grip of something awful and the wheels fell off.’

Last January, he was convicted of both domestic violence and drug-related crimes following a humiliating assault on a woman whose identity is protected.

Although O’Keefe’s drug conviction was overturned, his appeal against the assault convictions failed in August.

Okay, so everyone thinks he’s faded away, but let me tell you, even though he hasn’t been on TV in *over four years*, he’s still making over $300,000 a year! It’s insane! I mean, how does he *do* that? It just proves he’s a total legend, honestly. I knew he’d keep succeeding, even without the TV spotlight!

Court records show that the former host of The Chase Australia and Weekend Sunrise receives a monthly payment of $26,000, reportedly paid through an insurance policy, according to Daily Mail Australia.

After paying taxes and providing for his two youngest children, O’Keefe has roughly $9,000 left each month, which works out to about $2,250 per week.

The purpose of the insurance payments is unclear, but the total amount is $312,000. After deductions, the net amount is $108,000.

A statement of facts presented in Sydney’s Waverley Local Court on Friday revealed that while O’Keefe earns income, it’s still much less than the millions he previously made from television work.

At the end of 2020, the Seven Network decided not to renew his contract due to worries about his unpredictable behavior and allegations of domestic violence.

In February 2021, a Seven spokesperson stated that the network was clearly worried after seeing the reports about Andrew O’Keefe.

Seven and Andrew worked together on various projects for 17 years, but Andrew no longer works at the network.
