As an avid gamer with decades of experience under my belt and countless hours spent in various gaming communities, I can’t help but feel a sense of excitement at the latest development between Xbox and Discord. Being able to seamlessly transition from gaming sessions on my Xbox Series X|S to catching up with friends on Discord without ever having to leave my console is nothing short of revolutionary!
After the latest update, which allows Xbox Insiders to stream games directly on their Xbox Series X|S or Xbox One (along with various enhancements), Discord has made it possible for all Xbox users to utilize these freshly introduced features.
This encompasses features such as viewing activity of your Discord friends on Xbox under the ‘Currently Active’ section, seeing them in parties or games alongside Xbox friends, and making direct calls to Discord friends from your console without having to enter a voice channel.
As an enthusiastic user myself, I’d recommend checking out the latest features introduced across all Discord users on Xbox. You can find all about it in this insightful blog post right here.
