Discord has officially rolled out its freshly developed virtual reward system, named Orbs, offering users an alternative method to acquire benefits such as Nitro, all without the need for actual currency. Following initial testing of this feature with a limited user group earlier in the year, it is now available globally.

Orbs are obtained by finishing various tasks like playing games, viewing trailers, or utilizing Discord’s features, which are similar to mini-missions known as Quests. These Orbs can be used in the Rewards Shop. When you accumulate a sufficient number of Orbs, you can redeem them for prizes such as three-day Nitro subscriptions.

At present, you can access this system solely through desktop and web platforms; mobile compatibility is not available as of now. However, one significant advantage it offers is the ability to secure free Nitro, Discord’s premium subscription.
