A spokesperson for Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs has come to his defense following claims that he was seen drinking alcohol while being held at the Fort Dix federal prison in New Jersey.
Sources told TMZ that Combs was seen drinking a homemade mixture of fermented Fanta, sugar, and apples.
According to his representative, 56-year-old Combs hasn’t broken any prison rules and is focused on maintaining good behavior during his sentence.
The spokesperson stated that staying sober and maintaining self-control are very important to him, and he’s fully committed to doing so.
A representative for Combs stated that, as he’s only been at Fort Dix prison for a week, rumors are expected to circulate during his incarceration.
Daily Mail has reached out to reps for Combs for further comment on the story.

Okay, so I just heard from Diddy’s team, and honestly, they’re asking us – us, the fans who love him so much – to give him some space. They want us to believe in him, to let him work on himself, and to just… let him heal. They’re begging for a little peace for him, and I, for one, totally get it. He deserves all the support in the world right now, and I’m sending him nothing but positive vibes. We need to trust him and let him grow!
A statement was briefly shared on Combs’ X account on Saturday, but it was later removed.
It read: ‘The rumors claiming Mr. Combs was caught with alcohol are completely false.
‘His only focus is becoming the best version of himself and returning to his family.’
Sean Combs, also known as Diddy, received a sentence of four years and two months in federal prison last month following his conviction in a prostitution case from July.
On October 30th, Combs was moved from the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn to Fort Dix Federal Correctional Institution in New Jersey.
A photo of Combs hanging out with other inmates in the prison yard was then made public.
Combs’ lawyers requested he be moved to Fort Dix, believing the facility would provide the best treatment for his substance abuse problems.

Mr. Combs’ attorney, Teny Geragos, asked the court to recommend that the Bureau of Prisons send Mr. Combs to FCI Fort Dix. This placement, he argued, would help with Mr. Combs’ recovery, allow for better family visits, and address drug abuse concerns.
Judge Arun Subramania, who is overseeing the case, has agreed that Combs can participate in a substance abuse rehabilitation program while he is in jail.
In a letter to Judge Subramanian, Combs explained he’s committed to a recovery process that will require dedication and time.
I’m really pushing myself and working harder than ever. I’m dedicated to continuing to live a healthy, peaceful, and violence-free life.
Combs added, ‘I thank God that I’m stronger, wiser, clean, clear and sober. God makes no mistakes.’
