As a dedicated fan who’s been through the ups and downs of the Ton since the debut of Bridgerton, I can confidently say that we’re in for another captivating season! With each new tidbit about season 4, my anticipation grows like an uncontrollable powdered wig during a windstorm.
Even though Bridgerton season 4 is yet to arrive, we fans can’t help but seize any hints, previews, or peeks into the upcoming romantic tale. We’re always eager for news, and this time is no exception! In a fresh video featuring Yerin Ha as Sophie Baek, could it be that we caught a sneak peek of Sophie donning her Lady in Silver attire from Bridgerton season 4?
In the same manner as Kate’s character name was altered from Kate Sheffield in the books to Kate Sharma in the series to align with the actress’ ethnic background, Ha’s name has been adjusted too. From Sophie Beckett in the novels, she is now called Sophie Baek on the show. I appreciate this inclusivity that Bridgerton brings!
Let’s revisit the video now. Netflix has unveiled Ha in an official sneak peek (you can watch it here), and she’s examining the period costumes we’re accustomed to. Then, she pauses and gazes at a stunning silver-toned dress with matching gloves, which is noteworthy. For readers familiar with Julia Quinn’s books, this moment carries additional importance.
Your Sophie has finally arrived. Please welcome Yerin Ha to Bridgerton Season 4!

In an upcoming tale, this lady is poised to win Benedict Bridgerton’s heart in a charming manner! Their story mirrors that of Cinderella, and I can’t wait to see it unfold. When Sophie arrives at Violet’s masquerade ball, they instantly connect. However, as she departs, she carelessly leaves one of her gloves behind, which Benedict keeps. To uncover the identity of the captivating woman he met, Benedict must solve the puzzle presented by the single glove. I’m excited! Take a look at the official synopsis for the upcoming 8-episode season below:
The fourth season of Bridgerton turns its focus to bohemian second son Benedict (Luke Thompson). Despite his elder and younger brothers both being happily married, Benedict is loath to settle down — until he meets a captivating Lady in Silver at his mother’s masquerade ball.
As a gamer, I can’t wait to dive into Benedict’s love story because it’s more than just a whiff of mystery and me guessing who this high-society charmer might be pining for. It’s intriguing that she’s not part of the upper class, adding an unexpected twist to their relationship. I’m eager to see how their instant connection unfolds amidst the rigid rules of society.
In essence, she has had little choice but to devote significant portions of her life serving an exceptionally rigorous employer, acting as a servant, according to Netflix’s Tudum. Yet, Sophie, with her knack for resilience, consistently manages to navigate through the challenges posed by her circumstances. Indeed, quite fascinating!
