Dianne Buswell and Joe Sugg are seen for the first time since the birth of their son Bowden as they enjoy a family stroll with his sister Zoe and her fiancé Alfie Deyes after welcoming their first child together

Dianne Buswell and Joe Sugg were spotted out for a walk with Joe’s sister, Zoe, on Thursday, marking their first public appearance since welcoming their baby.

Strictly Come Dancing’s Dianne Buswell and Joe Sugg announced the birth of their son, Bowden Mark Richard Sugg, on Wednesday. He was born on March 16th, and they shared the first photos of him on Instagram.

Shortly after announcing their news, Dianne and Joe enjoyed the sunny March weather with a walk in Sussex.

They were joined by Joe’s sister Zoe, her fiancé Alfie Deyes and their two-year-old daughter Novie.

I always loved Dianne’s style, and today was no exception! She was wearing this gorgeous, bright rainbow cardigan with jeans as she and Joe carefully brought little Bowden in from the car and settled him into his pram. It was such a sweet sight.

Zoe and her fiancé, Alfie, have two daughters, four-year-old Ottilie and two-year-old Novie. Like Joe, Zoe is also very popular on YouTube.

It’s been a while since we’ve seen them, but Codie Bullen from the Daily Mail recently revealed what they’ve been up to. You can find the complete article here.

Dianne and Joe, who became a couple after meeting on the show Strictly Come Dancing in 2018, have announced the birth of their son, Bowden. They named him with middle names honoring both Dianne’s father, Mark, and Joe’s grandfather, Richard, who passed away in 2021.

Dianne announced the arrival of her son, Bowden, sharing a sweet photo of him in her arms and a picture of her and Joe bringing their new baby home from the hospital.

She captioned the post: ‘Never felt a love like it. Baby Bowden Mark Richard Sugg. 16/03/26.’

Dianne received lots of congratulatory messages from her fellow ‘Strictly’ stars, including one from Vicky Pattison who wrote, ‘Omg!!!! Congratulations guys!!! He is Perfect.’

Vito Coppola is overjoyed! He wrote, ‘Oh, finally! My beautiful nephew! I’m so incredibly happy, I’m crying tears of joy. Uncle Vito can’t wait to meet you! Lots and lots of love! Beautiful nephew!’

Nancy Xu excitedly welcomed the new baby, writing, ‘Auntie Nancy can’t wait to meet you, sweet angel! Congratulations to you both, @joe_sugg and D!’

Amy Dowden shared her congratulations, calling the news ‘utter perfection’ and welcoming baby Bowden. She expressed excitement to meet the little one and give lots of cuddles.

‘OMG!! Congrats to you both!!!’ Gorka Marquez posted.

Fleur East posted: ‘Ahhhh he’s here! Congratulations to both of you.’

Dianne announced she was expecting a baby on Instagram in September, just before the new season of Strictly Come Dancing began.

She made history on Strictly as the first professional dancer to compete while pregnant. Unfortunately, her partner Stefan Dennis had to withdraw from the competition in 2025 due to an injury.

Dianne and Joe announced they were expecting a baby in a sweet video set to Elton John’s “Tiny Dancer.” They playfully pretended to paint a picture together on an easel as part of the reveal.

They held up the canvas for the camera, and it showed a simple drawing: two stick figures holding hands, with one having bright red hair like Dianne’s, and a baby between them.

The couple shared that they’re expecting their first child in 2026, and it’s a boy!

Joe captioned the clip: ‘Our little baby boy ❤️ we cannot wait to meet you.’

Friends and fans showered the couple with congratulations, and their fellow contestants on Strictly Come Dancing were among the first to offer their best wishes.

Dianne hinted that the birth of their baby son was imminent in February in a sweet update.

She made a video showing her and Joe Sugg’s belongings, and included tiny replicas of them as well.

Dianne signaled she was prepared for the baby’s arrival, having laid out miniature clothes, shoes, and even a fun onesie inspired by ‘Strictly Come Dancing,’ and then simply said, ‘Now we wait.’

She captioned the Instagram post: ‘When 2 will soon become 3 the last one!’

Joe and Dianne became a couple after being partnered together on the 2018 season of Strictly Come Dancing.

Competition organizers reportedly prepared backup plans for Dianne when she became the first contestant to compete while pregnant last year.

Because the baby is expected in early 2026 and the ‘Strictly’ finale is in December 2025, she might have continued dancing almost until her due date, which would have required show officials to prepare a replacement plan.

According to a source, show producers are prepared for any issues and have several professional dancers ready to fill in if needed, ensuring the show continues without interruption.

The BBC’s top priority is Dianne’s health and wellbeing, and they plan to fully support her with ongoing check-ins from their welfare team.

A source close to Strictly Come Dancing told the Daily Mail that the story is a fuss about something that’s been known for a while, and it’s inaccurate to suggest it’s new information.

Dianne was a contestant on last year’s show with Stefan Dennis, an actor from the popular Australian series Neighbours. Unfortunately, they had to leave the competition when Stefan was injured.

Rumors spread quickly suggesting Stefan’s injury wasn’t real and that Dianne’s pregnancy was the true reason they had pulled out.

Dianne quickly went to Instagram to deny the rumors, writing: ‘Just to be clear, a lot of people have messaged me wondering if this is an excuse for me not being able to dance!’

We would never lie, especially about someone’s health! And just to clarify, I’m doing well. I am pregnant, but I’m also perfectly capable and feeling great!

She also clarified that procedures are established to handle professional illness or injury, stating, “There are systems in place if a professional becomes sick or is injured.”

Before announcing her pregnancy, Dianne had often talked about wanting a baby, and revealed in May that she was really hoping to become a mother.

The celebrity, who won the dance competition with her partner Chris McCausland in 2024, shared that the pressures of her work have meant they’ve had to postpone their plans to start a family.

She shared with The Sun that she definitely wants to have children, saying she and her partner, Joe, both love kids. While she hasn’t decided how many she’d like, she’s confident it will happen.
