Devolver Digital is releasing a new game, Reigns: The Witcher, on February 25, 2026, for Android, iOS, PC, and Mac. Developed by Nerial and CD Projekt RED, this card-based adventure is the newest installment in the popular Reigns series.

Reigns: The Witcher takes place in the harsh and fantastical world of the popular Witcher games. This new story is told through the eyes of Dandelion, Geralt of Rivia’s longtime friend, and I’m excited to see Geralt’s journey from this unique point of view.

I’ve always enjoyed Dandelion’s character, so I’m excited to play through this over-the-top story about him. The game is designed around choices – each one feels like a line in a song, and even wrong decisions can add to the narrative. The gameplay itself is easy to pick up; you mostly just swipe to decide whether Geralt impresses the nobility or stirs up trouble with mages.

If you enjoy the Witcher games and characters, you’ll be happy to see favorites like Yennefer, Triss, and Vesemir return. You’ll also have a great time shaping Geralt’s story with choices that lead to different outcomes, told through compelling narratives and countless possibilities, all guided by a storyteller.

I found the breaks between story sections to be really enjoyable, particularly the little combat challenges and puzzles. You also earn rewards like new abilities and characters. Considering CD Projekt RED is involved, and how successful the previous Reigns games were, this game feels like it has a lot of potential.
