dev1ce joins rain and gla1ve in 100 Thieves: Full roster confirmed

100 Thieves has been a major focus for the Counter-Strike esports community, from their return to the scene to building their final team. With their 2026 roster now complete, expectations are high for 100T to perform well in-game, not just on social media.

Nicolai “dev1ce” Reedtz left Astralis at the end of 2025. While it was announced he’d be joining a new CS2 esports team, the organization wasn’t revealed right away. In early 2026, it was confirmed that the rumors were true: dev1ce had signed with 100 Thieves.

The team’s updated lineup features both experience and fresh talent. Håvard “rain” Nygaard joined previously, and fans are excited to see him play alongside dev1ce. In addition, 100 Thieves has signed three up-and-coming players. This move seems like a smart long-term strategy, focusing on developing talent rather than just bringing in established stars.

A really interesting part of the current 100 Thieves CS2 team is that Lukas “gla1ve” Rossander, who used to play with dev1ce, is now their coach. This is a big change, and gla1ve is expected to bring something special to the team with players like rain and dev1ce. They’re starting fresh to climb the ranks in the VRS system.

100 Thieves signs dev1ce: Exciting, still doubtful

Lukas ‘dev1ce’ Andersen is a Counter-Strike legend, having won four Major championships with Astralis. He’s widely considered one of the best players in the game, so his move to 100 Thieves is exciting news for fans.

This is a fresh start for the team, an opportunity to create a new winning history. The new player brings a lot of experience and can help the team work well together, aiming for major international tournaments. Plus, 100 Thieves has gained a well-known player who will generate a lot of buzz in the esports world and the CS2 community. Everyone is eager to see how dev1ce performs in this new phase of his career.

The main concern revolves around dev1ce’s declining performance in recent years. He hasn’t been playing at his best in CS2, and his 1.07 rating on hltv.org in 2025 isn’t particularly strong.

While dev1ce had some good plays, he didn’t seem like his usual self at the Budapest Major. He admitted in an interview that he wasn’t even feeling motivated to practice.

Is Astralis’ recent performance decline due to internal problems with the team, or is it simply a temporary dip in dev1ce’s skill? The upcoming 2026 CS2 season with 100 Thieves should provide some clarity and likely indicate what’s next for dev1ce’s professional esports career.

Bound to Astralis?

Throughout his impressive career, device hadn’t changed teams often. He started with a few smaller organizations before joining Astralis, where he achieved a period of great success and numerous accomplishments.

Following his time with Astralis, dev1ce joined Ninjas in Pyjamas, where he achieved top-eight finishes in several major tournaments, notably PGL Major Stockholm 2021.

dev1ce rejoined Astralis in 2022. Since then, he’s only participated in one Major tournament, which was held in Budapest. While the team showed promise at IEM Chengdu 2025, Astralis’s overall performance has been a mix of highs and lows for their fans.

The full roster of CS2 100 Thieves: Three younger players with two experienced uncles

Instead of building a team of established stars, 100 Thieves has chosen to develop a roster with promising young talent. Alongside veterans dev1ce and rain, three newer players will be competing.

  • William “sirah” Kjærsgaard played for ECSTATIC in 2025, which means an experience in tier 2 and 3 tournaments.
  • Alex “poiii” Nyholm Sundgren was in the teams EYEBALLERS and Alliance in 2024 and 2025, with no tier 1 presence.
  • André “Ag1l” Gil enjoyed some success within his previous team, SAW: the top 3 at PGL Masters Bucharest 2025.

This 100 Thieves team presents a significant challenge for gla1ve. He’ll need dev1ce and rain to guide the newer players and build a cohesive team.

It’s still too early to confidently predict how 100 Thieves will perform in CS2, but it’s worth keeping an eye on their matches and checking esports betting sites. Interestingly, Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev recently joined a smaller team, BC.Game Esports, who will be competing at IEM Katowice from January 28th to February 8th, 2026.
