Destiny 2: Revenant Act I is Out Now With New Story, Weapons, Stasis Armour Updates, and More

As a seasoned Guardian, I’ve seen my fair share of battles and triumphs in the ever-evolving world of Destiny 2. But the arrival of Revenant Act I has sent a shiver down my Spark! The new episode, with its undead Scorn army and empowered Fikrul, promises an exhilarating challenge that I can’t wait to tackle.

Today marks the release of “Destiny 2: Revenant,” where Guardians are tasked with assuming the role of ‘Slayer Baron.’ In this battle, you confront Fikrul, head of an undying Scorn horde. Following the demise of the Witness in “The Final Shape“, Fikrul has gained strength from the residual Echo, ushering in a fresh chapter.

Act I of The Revenant introduces an array of fresh elements and material, such as brewing Tonic concoctions, acquiring novel weapons and Artifact enhancements, discovering a new Skimmer for access, and the unveiling of Onslaught: Salvation gameplay mode. Furthermore, you’ll encounter additional Stasis modes, chilly updates to Exotic armor for Stasis users, as well as the opportunity to obtain a new Exotic Stasis Grenade Launcher called ‘Alethonym’.

In this update, Salvation provides three maps (Widow’s Court, Eventide Ruins, and Kell’s Grave) along with new defensive enhancements such as aerial bombardments and mobile turrets for your defense. Additionally, the in-game Halloween celebration, Festival of the Lost, is set to resume starting from 29th October.

In conclusion, Revenant introduces a fresh dungeon called Vesper’s Host, set to debut on October 11th. This marks the beginning of the first formal Dungeon Race, where participants can watch the top fireteams battle it out in Contest Mode, aiming to be the first to reach the finish line. Those who manage to complete the dungeon within its initial 48 hours will receive a unique emblem. Additionally, conquering this dungeon rewards players with the Exotic Ice Breaker Sniper Rifle. The action can be streamed live via Twitch.

Live now in various platforms including Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC is Act I of Destiny 2: Revenant, the latest chapter within the Destiny 2 universe.
