Destiny 2: Revenant Act I Coming Next Week With 'Onslaught: Salvation' Mode, Tonic Brewing, and More

As a seasoned Guardian with countless hours logged within the Destiny universe, I can hardly contain my excitement for the upcoming Act I of Destiny 2: Revenant! The tantalizing taste of new adventures, weaponry, and gameplay modes has been a long time coming, and Bungie’s recent live stream has only served to whet my appetite.

Bungie unveiled what players can expect from the approaching Act I of Destiny 2: Revenant, set to launch next week. This forthcoming release brings a host of fresh features, and for a comprehensive overview, you can watch the complete live stream right here.

This encompasses tonic brewing, novel weapons and Artifact enhancements, along with a fresh game mode called ‘Onslaught: Salvation’. This updated Onslaught version will involve battling waves of enemies as usual, but also completing objectives, defeating Scorn bosses, and freeing captured Eliksni.

In addition to the tale of the Revenant, some significant characters from the Destiny universe will make their return, along with the new dungeon called ‘Vesper’s Host’. Furthermore, we’re eagerly anticipating Project Frontiers, set for release in 2025. It includes two expansions of moderate size, similar to Rise of Iron, and four significant updates are planned throughout its development.

A significant update to armor and its associated stats is planned, including the introduction of new stat ranges and set bonuses that will increase value and customization options for players. Destiny 2: Revenant Act I is set to release on October 8th; for more information, check out the developer livestream below.
