Desperate excuse of woman arrested for fatal hit-and-run of Netflix star Sara Burack in Hamptons
It emerged on Saturday that a woman from Virginia who is facing charges for a fatal hit-and-run involving well-known realtor Sara Burack claimed she thought she had hit a traffic cone instead.
32-year-old Amanda Kempton found herself facing charges for abandoning a traffic incident, allegedly linked to the tragic demise of the beloved star from Million Dollar Beach House, as per the Southampton Town Police Department’s reports. I can hardly believe it!
40-year-old me, identified as Burack, was apparently strolling along the bustling Montauk Highway, towing a bright pink wheeled luggage, when Kempton’s car reportedly hit me around 3 am.
She had sustained severe head trauma and multiple fractures.
Regardless of being transported to Stony Brook University Hospital, Burack passed away later that day due to her sustained injuries.
At the weekend’s court hearing, marine biologist Kempton denied guilt and was freed from police detention. During the session, she explained that instead of striking a reality TV personality, she believed she had hit a roadside traffic cone.
Officials said Kempton’s family had posted collateral in place of the $100,000 bail.
Her family lives in Manorville, a hamlet situated within Suffolk County on Long Island, New York, which is commonly known as the entry point to the Hamptons.

If I’m not mistaken, if things go south and I’m found guilty for fleeing the scene of a serious car accident, I could potentially spend up to seven years behind bars, according to The Independent.
As a lifestyle advisor, I’d say, “In my professional opinion, I’ve often found that individuals like Kempton, who left the accident scene, are considered high-risk flyers. This is based on my understanding from recent news reports in The New York Post.
With a quiver in her voice, the 32-year-old resident of Virginia heard the court acknowledge her intention to attend a wedding in her home state this coming Saturday.
In a court setting, attorney William Keahon stated that there’s no suspicion that alcohol played any role in the case, even though she had previously visited a bar during the night.
He mentioned that the fog was extremely thick, limiting sight, and his client failed to spot Burack on the road.

After departing the location, Kempton navigated to a friend’s residence. Later on, she found Burack’s pink luggage trapped under her car.
Law enforcement officials were able to identify Kempton as the driver by means of a license plate scanner, and they found her car with front-end damage at her family’s home.
As a dedicated follower, I hail from the vibrant state of Virginia, and my academic journey has led me through esteemed institutions like George Mason University in Virginia and Nova Southeastern University in Florida. There, I earned degrees in microbiology and marine biology respectively. These details are a part of my public online presence.
This past year, I’ve had the privilege of serving at 4-H’s Camp Jekyll, nestled on the beautiful shores of Jekyll Island, Georgia, as stated in a recent Facebook update.
Burack was a licensed real estate broker with experience in the luxury real estate market.
Apart from her career achievements, she also became widely recognized at a national level by being part of the cast on the Netflix show titled “Million Dollar Beach House.

Apart from her various endeavors, she was equally involved in philanthropic activities, like raising funds for leukemia studies and animal welfare programs.
news of her unexpected passing has sparked a wave of sorrow among friends, past coworkers, and individuals within the entertainment and property industries.
A close friend and fellow realtor, Paulette Corsair, shared with Newsday that she wanted others to recall her as a truly exceptional individual who deeply cared about people.
As an ardent admirer, I can’t help but gush about this remarkable woman. Day in and day out, she displayed an unparalleled dedication as a real estate agent, always putting others first. Her selflessness and commitment were truly inspiring. It’s no surprise that her friends adored her deeply, for she was not only reliable but also genuinely caring. Similarly, her family was blessed to have her close by, cherishing every moment they spent together.
