Denise Welch Celebrates Daughter-in-Law-to-Be Gabbriette’s Bold Fendi Catwalk Debut!
Denise Welch honored her future daughter-in-law, Gabbriette Brechtel, following her runway debut in Milan on a Wednesday.
26-year-old model, fiancée of Matty Healy (lead singer of The 1975) and Denise’s eldest son, delivered a striking naked declaration at the Fendi show, leaving very little to one’s imagination.
Gabriette opted not to wear a bra under her fitted, black mesh long-sleeved top. She complemented this with a sleek black knee-length skirt and stylish black leather boots.
The star swept her black tresses off her face in a slick back bun as she strutted down the runway.
In an enthusiastic post on Instagram Stories, Denise praised her future daughter-in-law Gabbriette by saying: ‘Tonight, Gabbriette strutted the runway for Fendi in Milan, and I couldn’t be more proud @gabbriette’.
Matt proposed to his girlfriend in June, and she enthusiastically agreed, as confirmed by her live on the talk show “Loose Women.
The presenter, who had known Gabriette five months into their relationship, excitedly expressed: ‘We are overjoyed. She embodies all that I could hope for in a future daughter-in-law.’
Denise explained that the couple had broken the news to their loved ones ‘a few weeks’ ago.
She’s shared with her colleagues for a couple of weeks now that Matty is engaged, she mentioned. Later on, they paid a visit to their friends Charli and George in New York.

It seems that Denise and Gabbriette are becoming quite close, much like a house ablaze with warmth, following their previous heartwarming video celebrating Christmas together where they danced into the night as a trio.
There have been whispers about an engagement between the artist and fashion icon, as she recently shared a photo on Instagram showing off a £10,000 black diamond ring on the finger traditionally used for weddings.
Enhancing the buzz, Gabbriette labeled Matty’s social media profile with the message: ‘WEDDING THE 1975 IS SO Tempting @trumanblack’.
Gabbriette persisted in flaunting her engagement ring, even posting a selfie taken in front of a mirror later on. However, instead of wearing it on her left hand, she moved it over to her right hand this time.
Gabriette, who shared a picture of the ring during Charli XCX’s concert, displayed her bold attire on her Instagram story.
She opted for a strapless, black minidress without a bra, paired it with knee-high boots, and added a black strapped choker around her neck.

Matty reportedly purchased the engagement ring for $10,800 at a vintage liquidation sale.
Since September 2023, there has been a connection between them. This came about after Healy parted ways with Taylor Swift in June, and they were seen sharing passionate public displays of affection in New York City.
As an officially paired duo, we’ve graced numerous public events together, such as Fashion Week shows and our band’s performances.
Known simply by the name Gabbriette, she hails from Orange County, California, and was born in 1997, which means she is eight years younger than Matty.
Initially intending to become a ballet dancer upon moving to Los Angeles, Gabbriette instead found herself embarking on a modeling career following her casting in a Blood Orange music video.
Yet, things weren’t smooth sailing as she revealed to Vogue in May 2023 that she invested considerable effort as a model without receiving payment.
She has since worked with brands like Diesel, Bottega Veneta and Marc Jacobs.
